@kwazimoto44 I agree with you, this router is a piece of crap. I bought it over a year ago, has been nothing but problems. My old router was way better. If you are into playing online games, stay away from this router.

Thanks for going through every step for the dd-wrt newbies.  I actually followed the DD-WRT's instructions step by step and used your video as a guide. They mentioned doing a 30-30-30 reset before and after the firmware install. Was this neccessary?

@theSoldi3r Yes, it helps reconfigure your router for optimal performance, you should do this so dd wrt can successfully overwrite the old firmware.

Terrible router for console gaming. This thing can't keep my Xbox 360 connected for more than a minute or two. It's only 25 feet from it too. Ridiculous. On the other hand, I've had no issues with my PC's. Keeps them connected with zero problems.
