  • Excellent, I've been looking for new and different forms of photo montage, looks like you've got some video mixed in but you really inspired me.

  • thank you

no video in any of it, it was all photos, on the parts where it looks like it's moving, it's me practicing stop motion with my digital camera, i love doing that!

  • Oh ok cool, I just read it took you several years to fill a 2 GB card, I wonder what setting it's on, I can fill a GB on day trip.

  • they were mostly VGA (640 x 480)

recently i switched it up to 1MB or 4MB, it works great with shooting at night

  • Wow ... just wow ...

Also, I added this to my vlog.

  • thanks for adding it to your vlog!

  • Brilliant!

My sister was working on a video like this when she visited me a couple months ago. It was her trip from Montana to San Diego and back and it was fab. I'm trying to get her to post it on YT, so I'm sending her your video as an inspiration. :D

  • excellent!

  • awsome vid. seizure!!!!.j/k about the seizure

  • Wow, Oscar. This was incredible.

Glad to see you making vids again.

  • thank you!

i'm glad i'm making videos again also

  • Thank you Amanda!

i'm glad it brings you inspiration, i must admit, i love watching it over and over!

thanks for the feature and the stars!

it's been a while since i've talked to ya, how goes it all?

  • Wow - this is so cool. First, great concept. Second, the music is perfect. A few things that really stuck out for me, the weird girl in a yellow dress in Arizona? Who was she, a ghost? The way the music changes at 1:14 and it coincides with highway footage and then a lot of art pictures. This is very beautiful. I love it. :)

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it!

i want to make many more, i keep wondering what it is like to watch it without any prior knowledge of the pictures, when i see it, it triggers many memories at once

the song is what gave me the idea, i love Pink Floyd!

i'd like to take credit for the audio change up at 1:14 but that was purely coincidental, although the way i see it, there is no such thing as coincidence, so then every picture i took was meant to be taken

  • as for the girl with the yellow dress,

    it's not a ghost (sorry)

the picture was taken on February 5th 2007, in Sedona, Arizona, i was walking around a trail and i saw a bright yellow something on a small tree branch, i looked closer and it turned out to be a small plastic toy of Beauty, from disney's Beauty and The Beast. It stuck out in the red surroundings, so i took a picture and left it there undisturbed

the video covers 4 years of my life,

in cronological order, and i hope to do more of em

  • Compulsively mesmerising, brilliant.

  • many thanks!

  • Trippy. It's like I was there for some of that. weird!

  • you were there through all of it my friend

  • Nice!

  • thanks

  • awesome oskarin.

  • that's what they call me!

    thanks milo!

  • Heh heh I had the same idea.. but my camera broke before I could get to 2 GB.

    Looks amazing. pure time travel.

  • thank you

it is pure time travel! i'm going to fill up the next 2GB and do more, it's very trippy.

  • Good title for the next one. Time trippy.

We bought the camera when my son was born and fresh parents ... It would be a fast growing baby mostly. That is where my idea came from. Maybe I should just do it.

  • that would be very cool to see! the growth of a human

i say do it, it is definitely worth it, i think your son would enjoy seeing it, now and when he's older

  • Yeah and I can always extend the movie
