I am familiar with an english saddle but I had too many balance issues with an english saddle so I've always rode western. Look up Lauren Barwick, she's a Canadian Paralympic equestrian, she has a modified saddle that might work for you or at least give you some ideas how to modify the saddle you have.
I don't know if you are familiar with an english saddle, but do you have any suggestions on how to mod it to work for a rider with a partial spinal-cord injury? She has minimal movement, but not enough to hold herself on. She is absolutely adamant about staying english though. Thanks
