I moved from ny and was a bit set back by the way things are ran here...I dont work in the health field but im sure there are jobs available in the industry...There is city transportation, but no subway or train system for citywide travel. There is a bus system and plenty of cab services. Im not sure about high crime but there were some dingy areas, shallow in there own kind of way. If you are looking for a good city, research the triangle and charlotte

@PsalmsNmyrrh yes, winston salem, high point, and greensboro....Either of these cities are good. They are not too rural, not too suburban and not too urban. They all seem to have a good mix of people, culture and available resources. Check it out. Fayetteville is very small, and its a G.I town. Downtown Fayetteville's center piece is an old monument from the slave times. I forget what its called, but they used to sell slaves there. That disgusted me when i lived there. Hope this helps.

FPD has some good cops and at least they are nowhere near as dishonest or corrupt as the State Police in the area. Althogh I think they are way over-budgeted when half of the time they have nothing real to respond to so they just sit on street corners hoping criminals come to them and call it a "routine checkpoint". I hate being late for work because of their causing uneccessary traffic delays. If they can't find work for them, send them home for the day and save a few tax dollars.

I believe you have the right of free speech until you infringe on someone else's right to walk down the sidewalk in peace. As a 9/11 truther,I also want to get the word out. I don't think making a scene on a campus is the best approach. I'm starting to think a far better strategy would be to make a concerted effort to make as many friends as possible from diverse backgrounds, and slowly let your friends in on the truth. Throw parties, have fun, and speak truth. It will spread like wild fire.
