@Easleytee Sorry if i offended u or anybody in any way. My drumming influences came from Gavin and some other drummers. Just from my thoughts, i think he's a legend and maybe from other people he's not. And u might have somebody in your thoughts who are legends and that influences u aswell, don't u? =D

Simon may have the ugliest cymbal set-up ever, and Gavin surely has a beautiful one. But what a level of musical interaction! So smooth! The exchanged smile at 1:11 says it all... :D

What is the time signature on this?

@jakeEshades The first pattern that they play is an billy cohbam ostinato ( in 6/4 with 3 on the left hand and 4 on the right ) but it seems that they add one beat at the end of it so i would says 7/4

And at 1:41 it is just 7/16 accenting 1, 3 and 5

@Schizophaith apparently someone who's fed up with stuff's name with an i at the beginning. :) i would have disliked the video but i simply couldn't do that with a clear conscious knowing the fact that this video is about two of my all-time favorite drummers jamming together. for the love of god, please change the magazine's name. i started to itch already.
