Cure doesn't heal sicknesses. Cure doesn't work on poison, and a poison is a type of illness (if you think about it--eating rotten sashimi will give you poison in the game). And never before in the anime has Rena been used to cure sickness. So I guess we can assume it wouldn't do any good. (Like giving Aerith auto-life in FF7. XD )

Why can't Bowman just use EXPLOSION PILL!!! on all the monsters? and that is weird that the sorcery globe landed 3 months ago and they never got it before then, lazy bastards

This confuses the hell out of me. Aparrently, the Sorcery Globe only landed 3 months ago, so the Elder said at the start of the anime. And that means, Bowman has had all of Elanor's life to retrieve the Metox and cure her, because he was saying there were no monsters prior to the landing of the Globe.. So why the hell didn't he or someone else fetch the Metox while it was safe?

Ahhh, the cliche part of RPG's and animes...

At the exact moment when you arrive in a town, a local girl will suffer from a terrible illness and (i'll use this idea...)Ambrosia will cure the lil' girl. But it was inhabited by monsters etc... and no one returns alive blah blah blah, this all happened a few months ago... when DA EVIL PERSON DID THIS ONE THING.

Yeah... any CLICHE... :D gotta love it. ^^

To Rogetsu : Why didn't Bowman get the Metox before the Sorcery Globe landed? Simply because on last episode, he clearly mentionned that "according to his recent searches", he found that the Metox could cure her.
