• just curious do you have tubed tires? or is there enough of a seal created that no air escapes?

  • молодец)) придумал хорошо.

  • why dont you buy studded tyres?

  • We used to do this with our bicycles for the winter to ride on frozen creeks. We had to cut the sidewalls from a junk tire as a liner against the inner tube...We just used wood screws though.

  • Too bad they'd all wear down the first time you hit a gravel patch or anything other then ice. That is why you have to use hardened steel not just nails or concrete nails like is used here.

  • why couldn't I think of that

  • WOW u have some extreme patience! Good work man!

  • run someone over with those...

  • @stangman530

He most certainly put the other end of the nail against a hard surface, like a vise or a steel rod which sat against the floor.

  • I'm afraid to imagine what would happen if fall under that...

  • What are the nails that you use?

  • A small trade of time for money, and some places such outragious items are very hard to come by.

  • i would NOT want to be ran over by that...

  • Really cool :)

  • i instinctively looked away as soon as he sparked up the mig welder lol.

  • dont drop your phone

  • That Looks Nasty.

  • do you just put the tire back on with a normal tube?

  • nice work ;)

  • Gerai sugalvota ;)

  • nice job. but is very dangerous. if you fall and just a touch in the wheel. already know the result.

  • That is a little dangerous. If you ran over yourself that would be bad.

  • Are these nails high carbon? How do they wear? I have tried several different types of pics and only the carbide ones will hold a point. Very cool concept!

  • awesome but i wouldnt ride it

if you ever do manage to fall then those tires could rip you apart

  • All I can say is "Your Bad Ass Dude" When a mans got ride, he dose what it takes!

All your had work will last for many winters to come!

  • Buen aporte!! gracias. Desde Tierra del Fuego

Great Value. thanks man. From Tierra del Fuego.

  • @RickaVas name of song?

  • @84xr250r the break down by breaking Benjamin

  • Guys, for the front Tyre I used special constructional nails. Name on the box says Powers Fasteners, marked as DN22M (22mm). On the rear 45mm long, 4mm wide Russian, also specially designed, constructional nails.

Grips is perfect on the ice and on a ridden snow, nails are still there :)

  • @RickaVas i think it would'v cost you less to by the real deal MF44 from Quebec.. its a national sport here trust me you gotta try those :)

    mf44 dot ca

  • maybe the cheapest way i have seen anyone make spike tyres.

  • @RickaVas name of song?

  • Did the bolts actually stay on?

  • Hey guys/gals, there are many comments asking about the studs and where to get them. Those spikes are concrete drive pins. Search your local hardware store or simply search on eBay for "hammer drive pins"..... there are lots of auctions on ebay AND they are cheap..... now THUMBS UP so other people can see this.

    --- You're welcome!!!---

  • How cool cand that be!!! realy good ideea!!!

  • is that legal??

  • @18SARA81 If you don't ride on the streets, I don't see why this would be illegal

  • @18SARA81 Yes street legal :-)

  • @18SARA81 everything is legal as long as you dont get caught ;)

  • @MrTaliaivo dont think of things a illegal just think of them as frowned upon by the law. see doesnt that sound better

  • excellent idea!....just as i said hummm...i wonder if those nuts will stay on?....zzzzzzit....out comes the welder!..lol!...it seems like the washer on the inside of the tire may be a little small...do they pull through...and how do they hold up?..i used carbide snowmobile studs on mine....big $ for those though....thanks for the vid!...

  • nice very nice

  • That is so cool. How long will they last?
