@dehumanizer1989 All GT500 cars dont run the original engine, they are allowed to change the engine from any other of their models as long as bosy is similar to the road going version. However as of after 2010 all GT500 cars run V8's with a displacing of 3.4 litres. And yes they run around 480-490hp. Engine aint all in GT racing you know and just cause the road going version has 450-500hp dosent mean a GT car dosent run the same. The focus is on engine response and not massive horsepower.

The Super GT has limits and the gt500 class only has 500hp and that is it. this is no where near 700 or 800hP and most def not 1100hp.... if super gt had no restrictions then I could see a GTR with some crazy amout of power like the R89 and R92's that ran in the late 80's and early 90's.

The JGTC R35 puts out about 550bhp as they are restricted. Without restrictors it would be around 800bhp.
