I've seen the DVD of the 25th anniversary where Ramoin played Enjoras, but today I saw Les Mis on stage for the first time and I was completely blown away by the performances. The show was incredible and this song had me in tears, so beautiful.

I went to see the show in the West End on Wednesday and this was definitely the highlight. Vocally he was incredible, and there was just a raw emotion to the performance of Bring Him Home that I have never seen before. He was lovely at Stage Door after the show as well- he waited a whole hour to meet all the fans.

I saw Ramin preform in the Queens theatre in December last year. Although I first fell in love with Les Mis through Colm Wilkinson's preformance as Jean Val Jean, Ramin absolutely blew me away and moved me to tears, his voice is incredible and as much as I love Colm's preformance, Ramin's is pretty much on par. It's so beautiful :)

I saw Ramin in Les Mis yesterday and he was just fantastic! If you get the chance to see him - take it! We met him at the stage door afterwards and he is so gracious and polite. A top, top man!

I had to fight back tears through most of this, especially those last few lines that he belted out with such passion... Particularly "If III DIIIIIIIEEEE" (which I totally called, BTW, I knew exactly what that line was going to sound like LONG before I finally got around to looking this up -- and I was right :D)... I practically burst into tears right then. This is one of the greatest songs ever written and I love Jean ValJean so much... Ramin is perfect for the role. Simply surreal.

One of the things I have always loved about Ramin is his top range- he has a rather extraordinary falsetto range for a baritone, so sweet and clear and flexible... god, I just love the instrument! Just metallic enough to handle tenor roles, with the range for most of them well, but also rich and dark enough to really evoke baritone roles well... I LOVE IT!

I'm sorry but I really don't think Ramin is the right person to play JVJ. I don't think his voice has the right qualities for the role, he sounds far too young and no offence to Ramin but he does have problems hitting and holding the higher notes. And before anyone flames me I like Ramin, I've seen him on stage plenty of times, this is just my opinion of him in this particular role.

When I heard that he'd turned down the role previously, I was thinking that it was the right decision to turn it down. However, I do have to disagree with you about him not being able to hit those high notes. Just listening to his performance of Music of the Night in the 25th anniversary gave me chills. I just can't see him in the role of JVJ. Still, I think he'll do a great job!
