  • lol if i tried this with my 5th ave id blow my tranny

  • upload more vids

  • idiot now go buy sme new tires

  • what year is that fith avenue

  • It needs some heads so you can keep up that burnout in second all the way down the road!

  • i always love watching a full size car doing john force style burnouts

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!

  • Awesome, i gotta 360 diplomat wagon, these engines are killer, got the stock diff though

  • The wagons all came with 8.25" rear axles, where the non-fleet model sedans came with 7.25" axles. It'll hold up as long as you don't pound on it to much.

Gear are probably your biggest issue. What motor was originally in the car?

  • @thedukeof5a oh...it came with the 360

  • Those 360 engines flat got some power and i know you changed your gears so its even badder.

  • 4.10s are a night and day difference to the 3.55 I had in there before. If it wasn't for the O/D transmission though highway trips would be unbearable.

  • Amazing. I have an 86 5th Ave. also white. Totally stock, but would love to turn it into a sleeper. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • damn nice car

  • That's one badass Fifth Avenue doin' those burnouts.

  • this is prolly gonna be my first car but i just cant belive of the noise this thing makes it sounds really nice when you rev the engine so :) i want my first car to be by Dodge or Chrysler because chevy is bad and i hate them and i actually think Chevy sucks big sweaty grey hair balls :D nice car!

  • Dope car...Tuff as. Love to see these in australia.

  • Thanks. I don't think you would ever see one down there though, they were never made with right hand steering setup.

  • I just bought a 1987 Fifth Avenue for $200. Its not that bad either.

  • your the fuckin man

  • dude your fifth avenue is sick even more than i thought it was when i saw the exhaust clips

  • dood beautiful fifth avenue no joke i hav one but its not as gopod as ur shit bro props

  • Dude type in The Great Escape Scary Not Really It has nothing to do with my car but

check it out it shows me doing a stunt in it

    1986 DODGE DIPLOMAT

  • I'm in Chicago and I'm looking for a fith ave. I was a chevy man but now I'm mopar all day because Chevy is not making any rw drive MAN size cars any more contact me if you know of one in my are.

  • Hey' Don't take it the wrong way. Not trying to be a ass or bust your chops anything. Cool car' I like it. Like the video to. Especially the instant replay. Cool. All i am saying is if you look around here that's all you see is guys burning there tires off. I just want to see something different then the same old same old stuff.

  • No offense taken. The next couple videos I put up on here will be track runs and maybe something from the Dream Cruise. Thanks for the compliments.

  • I will give you this much' Cool video' Cool car. But i will never understand the burnout thing. It doesn't prove anything except you can afford to put tires on those pretty Crager mags. Woopee.

Show me something else. Something that 10 million other motor heads haven't posted here on youtube. Show it going down the track and what time it ran. Or a good street race. Something different.

  • I like to think of it as a right of passage. I've owned the vehicle for over eight years and never did a nice smokey burnout. Track videos are in the works also. When I finally got the rear end squared away with a 4.10 Suregrip chunk the closest drag way had closed for the year. Besides, before it goes to the track it needs some rear suspension work. Doesn't hook very well. But hey, can't please everyone.

  • Nice! Lol..1st and second rippin'em lol..I love it!!!..from a 5th Avenue! Right now I'm starting on a twin turbo set-up in my '74 galaxie ex-police unmarked cruiser. Its coming together way cheaper than I imagined. Bump for a helluva sleeper bud!

  • Hey thanks! You got site about your Galaxy? I'd love to read up on your build.

  • Sweet Car! I got an 88 on here... but what size wheels and tires u got?

  • Thanks! BFG Radial TA 255-60-15 on the back, and 235-60-15 on the front. Back tires have a 4.25" back space I think. It's the biggest I could go with keeping it tucked in the wheel well.

  • i have and 86 fifth ave. I want her to perform like yours does Mark.

  • It wasn't cheap :-)

  • such a nice car.. wat? year is this one...i hav an 88 fifth ave but its in fair condition..im wrkn on it tho..but nice car bro

  • Thanks! It's an '87.

  • cool car igot a 1987 5th ave on youtube

  • nice burn out dude iam working on a magnum 360 truck motor that i plan on putting in my diplomat i blue the interceptor motor i put that comp xex 262 462 472 lift cam in i guess my break in to was not timed correctly it ran strong for a week now its has a slight knocking so i fund a low mileage 97 360 mg motor so back to the drawning board but i'll be back out in no time whats a good gear selection for 320 horespower in a 3200 lb. car
