Good for you. It's good to know that there are Democrat supporters who respect Dr. Paul to that extent. I'm not the biggest fan of Paul's domestic agenda, but his foreign policy makes more sense than any of the other candidates, and that's why I will vote for Paul as long as he is on the ballot.

Yet he has some marvelous ideas. He's fought the insurance industry for decades, if there's a person who will know how to fix that system, it's him. And the system must be fixed--health care is uninsurable. If you're a bad driver you can choose not to drive. You can't choose not to be sick, or not to have a "pre-existing" condition.
And with all the tension in the world, I want a president who can disagree, courteously. Edwards has never been rude, and that's more important than most realize.

For me, the important point is not that he disagrees with Hillary or Obama. It's how graciously he disagrees. He doesn't attack them personally or call them "wrong", he says "I see things differently". He's good at disagreeing without rudeness or condescension, and that's very important with all the damage Bush has done internationally. Plus, I DO want an "ambulance chaser" to reform health care: they know all the loopholes and BS of the industry, which is broken.

I see the point you're making, and I understand how you'd draw similarities between the two - Iraq vs. Pakistan.
Iraq was founded off the belief that there was the possibility from studies that were controversial at the time that there were nuclear weapons in Iraq.
Pakistan is founded off the knowledge that Osama Bin Laden is in Pakistan, and that Osama himself says he orchestrated the 9-11 attacks. This isn't speculation.

The media ignored Edwards for months, promoting Hillary and Obama as the clear front-runners. To place in 2nd and beat Clinton is spectacular. Electibility should be the number one thought in the voter's mind. We can't bring about the needed change in America if the candidate isn't going to beat a republican. We can't risk this crucial time to nominate a minority or a woman. Clinton is the past, Obama is the future, but John Edwards is the present!

The reason John lost is pure and simple,Obama was able to tap into the youmg voter much like RFK did in 1968. Although I'm still for Edwards and will vote for him on super Tuesday Obama must be congratulated for bringing in the young voter to the party.

John Edwards must make a forceful case tonight that if people want change, he is the only true agent of change- NOT Obama or Clinton. By recently voting for the Peru Free Trade Agreement (despite the fact every major labor and environmental organization opposed it) Obama and Clinton have shown they are the same old same old. Apparently a million well paying jobs lost to NAFTA is not enough for Obama- he wants to expand it into South America.

We have been controlled by the elite. The elite control the banking system, radio, tv,gov, and churches. They have taken our ability to question authority. We are more materialistic because of them. There is a very good reason why I can't support Obama. His recent vote for the Peru Free Trade Agreement was a slap in the face of the American worker. It let me know Obama has learned nothing from the disaster that is NAFTA. John Edwards opposed the Peru Free Trade Agreement. NEVER AGAIN WILL I VOTE FOR A POLITICIAN WHO STABS ME IN THE BACK!

Is it about a politician who talks of hope and change while working with lobbyists in and outside of his campaign? At least Hillary is honest about her love of lobbyists. Obama talks about special interests and hires those who worked for those interests. Edwards is the only Dem. capable of creating a substantive difference in the way our government operates. The reason is he understands that it will take a real fight to force that change. No change has ever occured without a fight.
