Tom Hardy is a great actor and will do a fantastic job as Max. George Miller the original director is directing the 4th film, and I'm happy to see the character live on. Sure Mel Gibson will always be the best Mad Max just as Sean Connery will always be the best Bond, but I'm happy to see the character live on. Can't wait to see Hardy as Max in Fury Road.

Fury Road takes place in between parts one and two, correct? Max would have had his leg brace right after part one since he was shot in the knee. I figure he might have gotten it from May Swayze (who wore leg braces on both legs) and/or a police hospital. The boots are the wrong model but it's hard to get those old Aussie ones because they're out of production. Plus, Mel wore different boots between parts one and two (and 2 different ones in Beyond Thunderdome).

yes this is a rehash of old footage and would seem a fake, the new movie is likely to be made in 2011/ 2012 as it has just been cancelled again here in Australia. it seems likely that it'll be made as they have spent a great deal of money on it on sets, staff, actors, cars, etc.

Tom Hardy the lead who'll play max will be a very good choice I think, anyone who has doubts watch Bronson he is very good!

He's a real actor and will roll all over gibson, who let's face it isn't that great!

Nope, too clean cut. Mel Gibson maybe too old, but like Harrison Ford as Indy Jones, it only seems right to get him on the project. A remake with cast of unknowns is hard to vision in an iconic film like this series
