underrated movie with an excellent theme music (you should have used that instead) and he was more Byron than Byron himself. Such a magnificent bastard
This is one of my favored love story movies. I saw it when it open in 1972 at the tender age 16. I saw many times and videos of DVD were not invented yet at that time!
Byron was an erudite poet and known ladies man. He was drop dead handsome, in spite of a club foot. I really don't think he spent his time boxing, but I could be wrong.
@bookkeeper57 You are wrong, bookkeeper57, Byron did box. I've heard he once boxed one of his servants in order to get over his pain over his mother's death. Byron was very much into athletics. Byron also like to play with pistols and always kept two on hand, at least when he was young and in school, I can't remember if he continued to do so or not.
This movie is entitled "Lady Caroline Lamb." It came out in the '70's, I believe. It is about the love affair bettween Lady Caroline, married to Lord Melbourne, and Lord Byron.
can anyone post the movie here or on salloumi.com?

Byron had a club foot; does Richard portray him as having one in the film? Anyone know where I can watch this?

This is a very underrated movie. I liked Chamberlain as Byron. He was so convincingly evil in that role

@phantomzeroex He was pretty athletic for having a clubfoot.
Most gentlemen of leisure had pistols. Thanks for the update!
