i have an kingston 8gb microsd class 4 (taiwan) which has lag on my samsung s8500 wave ,so i bought an A-DATA microSD 8gb class 10,hope it will run great

I'm pretty sure the cards are used just to store file, and when needed, like the nintendo ds, will read the game and store most of the resource in it's ram.. so class speeds are pretty much not a major statement for microsds.

protip: dont use windows to format sd cards, and dont use cards till you format them with the panasonic sd formatter(same with all flash memory really)

I have seen a simple format with the panasonic formatter take a card from slower then what your worst card is to faster then your best card.

also does wonders for flash based pmp/mp3 type devices :)

Could you compare the two cards using Apollo Justice Ace Attorney as the test game? I have a 8 gb Taiwanese Kingston that lags like hell during the game's cross-examination/testimony segments, and I've heard the Japanese cards have no such lag. Now I'm wondering if I wasted $20 on a slow card... :/

What class are your cards?

@remylovepokemon These are regular microsd cards so they don't have class #s. Startings with 4gb+ (microsdhc), there are class #s.

Japan rulz man LOL! I bought a kingston 32 gb micro sd class 4 for about 95.57 USD. I bought it today and i went to find a video test performance on utube....and i found ur video.... Damn mine was assembled in JAPAN. Cars, engineering and device...Japan no.1 in quality. thanks for the test dude i'm a happy man.

My Taiwan doesn't seem to be this slow with the adapter I used.Also loading/saving etc also depend on the flash cart you use.So a slow micro wouldn't be lagging with say Cyclone Ds.Also you should have test smaller games that gives you lagging problems (Animal Crossing/ Castlevania dawn of sorrow etc) Instead of the bigger games.

anyways the site i bought it by didnt give me the USB reader but i do got the sandisk micro SD adapter can i connect with that thing to my PC aswell or ?

loading from the taiwanese card is awefully slow! are you sure its formatted correctly? if it is.. taiwan sure makes shit products!:P

loading is a little long but there's no lag in the game?

@useurcamera That's correct. The loading time takes a while, but once the game is loaded, there is no lag time. The game runs like the usual.

Hey I purchased a kingston online and in the description of the microsd card it didnt state whether it was japan or Taiwan. Not sure if you know about castlevania portrait of ruin for nintendo ds played on a sandisk freezes and apparently it does not on the japan kingston. I hear the ones in taiwan are okay but not quite as good. I hope I get the japan one but i doubt it. Do you know if this game plays fine on the taiwan one without freezing? all ive heard of is it skips a little.
