Okay, granted, I have NEVER been to Kennywood...........but seriously, what the heck? I thought they were changing that stupid Garfield ride back to this in 2010, and it's 2011 NOW!
When their Garfield contract is up they are converting it back to the Old Mill. They've changed this ride many many times but always go back to the Old Mill. I'm not sure why they try to change it when they always end up going back.
I have always hated Garfields Nightmare!!!! When I was a few years younger I hung on to my older cousins and G-ma the whole time...I cannot wait to see what they put in...if the rumors are true I hope it's not stupid... I don't remember the old mill ride befor what is in now... :P
@TomShutter4 It's about time! I always thought the Garfield crap was...crap. Never even rode the Old Mill when it was all Garfielded-out. The scary Old Mill is the best one that I remember. Glad to hear they're bringing it back.
@WumWip we can only pray. that garfiled stuff is crap on the eyes even taking 10 hits of acid isnt going to help,. Its sucks!! bring back the skulls!!
there's something to be said here, if they kept this open it would've outdated quickly like garfield... all of them do... any dark-ride like kind of thing, unless you're talking Disney
The line was ALWAYS huge. And to true dark ride lovers, the classics were the best. The two top companies now both help ruin great rides. Another thing is the exterminator. One of the biggest lines in the park. And Knoebels Haunted Mansion has hardly been updated in decades but it's still voted as the best or second.

Nobody can beat disney, not seaworld, universal, carowinds, NOTHING! Even winnie the pooh's dark ride is better than all of those others... Disney has classics too, look at Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, it opened in 1971 in magic kingdom in disneyland it opened earlier, they keep up to date with it. Snow White's scary adventures, peter pan's flight.. the best water ride in the world: Splash Mountain! :D.

I've talked with a person working there, and yes, they do have plans for it. Maybe not in 2011 but it will be changed
