I don't think he's gonna make any sequels... his goal was to make one super mega hit... LIKE TITANIC, you don't see titanic with any sequels is one SUPER BIG BOX OFFICE HIT...

Part 2 has been confirmed. I read years ago that he planned it as a 3 part movie, but who knows what will happen, but this is just the beginning, and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

@PillageB4UBurn really? I think it would only ruin the beauty of this movie, if there would be any sequel, because all he wanted to say in this movie has been said. The story balance of Avatar is unbelievable.
