  • You need a vacation in North Korea to understand what a dictatorship is really about...

  • or you can go zuck yourself.

  • if you dont want to be ruled by this "Benevolent Dictator" all you have to do is deactivate your facebook account that mark has made possible for you free of charge. or if you have such a problem with their tos you could always create your own social networking site and see how that works out for you.

  • if facebook was a pay service i would understand the the anger towards facebook. but last i checked facebook was a free service. if you don't like it, simply don't use it. there are other options out there.

  • if you request your Facebook profile to be deleted via the approriate link and not the De-Activation. Everything to do with you is completely removed.

  • damn! i thought this was going to be funny!

  • actually we sortof did vote on it. when people dont like things on facebook there is a massive member outcry (take the beacon program for example which was cancelled due to user dissatisfaction), and in the spirit of democracy the facebook administration acts according to what the users want from their social networking experience

  • shut it

  • if you dont like facebook then just use myspace instead of bitching about it

  • Facebook is Mark Zuckerberg's property. He allows a user to use it under HIS terms. You were aware of his terms when you signed up. If you don't agree with his terms, he allows you to leave. I don't believe too many dictators have allowed the public the choice of living under their rule or leaving.

  • @brianlynrocks People don't have a real choice of leaving because everyone is in Facebook and you'll become a social outcast if you're not part of it.

  • @villeppi No, "everyone" is not on Facebook. Many people are, but not everyone. If you are worried about becoming a social outcast because you don't have a Facebook, then I believe your issues lie deeper.

  • @brianlynrocks forum at JTF.org

  • @Hevron46 wtf..?

  • There is a Zucker born every minute

  • great video

  • amazing points!! you're really smart

  • you have to admit the fact that founder have rights to set rules.so if you dont like dont use it...

  • he is the owner/creator of facebook he can do whatever he wants and does not have to cast a vote to make changes in his company... we are not fasciast

  • zuckerberg can Zuck my left ball sack.

  • newb

  • This guy is a loser. Seriously, shut the fuck up. You try running the most popular social network. You can't please everyone. He's doing a great job.

  • great point man, but he created facebook... very different than a country.. u cant really create a country.. just influence it.

  • @themindfuck You can rise against a country and make your own. Many people have done it.

  • Very articulate, easy to understand and thoughtful presentation of some excellent points. Rather prescient too, as this issue of privacy is on the national radar again with congress presenting the notion of biometric ID's.

  • stupid asshole

  • Everyone needs to back away from facebook. Thank you for the video I like your thoughts and research. The sheeples watering hole "Facebook" lol

  • Dude man i cant believe you HAHAHAHA! do you pay? do you OWN a share in facebook? NO!? OOOOHHHHH that makes sense! guys just like alan molstad said. all we can do is go to another website. IF you dont like it STOP POSTING ON YOUTUBE! THEY DONT NEED TO TELL YOU WHAT THEY DO, YOU DO NOT WORK FOR YOUTUBE NOR OWN THE COMPANY NOR OWN A HUGE SHARE IN IT!

  • @straighttailpilot I meant to say Face Book!

  • @straighttailpilot i meant to say facebook

  • You are a freaking idiot man.. just like everyone else had said:

    1) you're using HIS site for FREE!!

    2) it's a website not a country

    &3) you are not smart

please learn from this mistake... thank you

  • Zuckerberg OWNS the company, and YOU are using the WEBSITE (not a country) for FREE, so either shut up, or stop using it. Thanks.

  • A DICTATOR!! What on earth are you babbling on about! Its a website.... not a country!! Go outside and play in the sun!

  • You're an idiot. He did reverse his decision so what are you going on about... If you don't like this guys business and what he has to offer then use another social network...

  • I agree with what you said, thankyou for saying it so eloquently.

  • This is not a public service. You are using the guy's website for FREE. He is providing an amazing service which he innovated he can do what ever he wants, if you don't like the terms of use then delete your account.

Mark Zuckerberg is a genius and you are a whining loser.

  • @doha200007 The point is he's saying for those who chose to delete their account, facebook would retain all that information. Photos, messages, notes, everything

  • FACEBOOK IS SUCK !.

  • well i dont need to hide anything from the CIA.

And still I control how much details of myself I am presenting on facebook. So calm down.

  • its his website, he can do what he wants to do with it. You use HIS site, for free. If you want to use it, use it by his rules.

  • I agree with this completely!! I'm so upset that my information is now with third parties and other links I have seen with regards to the CIA and other third partys exploitation!

Check out the '60 minutes facebook' and 'facebook exposed' on youtube also to get the fuller picture...

  • With individuals such as AlanMoistad who is Pro-Corporate control and GraspingReality who is a racist, they don't care about what's going on in the real world. It is very sad!

  • Dictator indeed.

  • There is nothing I know of...

As long as facebook is free, then I will be a member.

As long as it's free, the owners of facebook can do whatever they want, make whatever changes they want.

I dont see how places like facebook stay open anyway?

I dont see how they make any money off of site like that?

So I feel lucky it's still up and running now for free.

And I try not to put stuff on facebook or youtube that I dont wanted used by others...

  • I closed mine out the other day, they don't let you fully erase your profile either.

  • Does anyone have a reason?

To tell the truth, I dont know what Zennie is talking about with the people that got upset about their information being stuck on Facebook?

After all, Facebook didnt put anything up about people, the people show up and do that themselves.

Before I made an account there on Facebook, the people on Facebook had no way to find me.

I think it's a great site and we should be more thankfull its around and free.

  • Election on the internet would be scary. What if your voting power depended on your bandwidth or about of data you have. After all, information is the new gold.

  • Corporate America has lust for greed and control.

  • well, thats the way they are...

Nothing wrong with seeking to make a buck or getting rid of the other guy who wants to make your buck.

  • Thank you for the information.

  • Nothing, we would do nothing.

No matter what FaceBook does or will do, it will not matter because people cant do anything.

Only a matter of time before China buys or invents a site like FaceBook that we all are a member of anyway.

As long at it's free there is nothing really anyone can do to stop it.

FaceBook can do whatever they want to do.

It's their site, I am just a guest.

They are the boss, they make the rules.

The only thing I can do is find someplace else to go...

  • I still love using facebook
