  • This is a super-hero/comic movie with a better script, direction, and acting then dramas out there...what an unbelievable job all around this movie was

  • gassed up

  • Yea he overdid it.

  • Geez, Batsy sounds like he's gargeling rocks when he speaks. They went a bit over the edge with that one.

  • Why can't I find an HD version of this?! It's been 4 years dammit!

  • @Arman88

You might just have to buy the DVD or Blu Ray. It wouldn't be a bad investment.

  • Look at him he just laughs at pain

  • The joker is smart a sweet talker a psycho path and doesn't respond to pain that's crazy

  • Thumbs up if you think that batman it´s a leper.

  • Honestly, everyone can complain all they want, but this Joker really is awesome. He doesn't flinch, or even respond the pain. He just keeps going, winning this game of mental chess with Batman.

  • I literally cannot wait for the new batman movie lol.

  • If u stop at 1:58 u will see the mirror reflection of the camera guy!!!

  • I love this part: 2:44

  • Where Are Are They?! :D

  • what is up with the jokers mouth and bat mans voice!?!?!?!

  • 2:59 That laugh man! EPIC!!!!!

  • I always thought Batman had 2 rules. No guns and no killings. Go figure.

  • Who noticed the Jokers hands at 2:20 - 2:30 switching lol

  • 2:59-3:08 the suspense.

  • on the real though, hands down this joker is freaking brilliant. Amazing acting i say, amazing.

  • @17marzi hes dead now

  • "Does Harvey know about you and his little bunny?" I also agree Bale is THE batman!! To bad he couldn't save Rachel...

  • Why do people hate Batman's voice, the voices were added in, after filming, they change the voices by computer to fit the movie better. People get it wrong when they say replace Bale. You have to look at Nolan's versions seriously.

  • "Look at you go!"

  • FAVORITE SCENE.

  • ROFLMAO

  • If I find those 37 people who disliked this, I'll lock them in a room with Batman.

  • You complete me! I am so glad that Heath Ledger didn't go down as the gay cowboy but as THE JOKER! This role will never be let down.

  • I love how Batman slams Joker's head into the table at the beginning.

This kinda shows how much Bruce has matured as Batman since the first film. Despite how scary Joker is, he deals with him like an average criminal.

  • maybe because of his role he comited suicide... i don't like the idea, but he was so good in acting as the joker, that he maybe turned into him O.o

  • Not the best impersonation I've seen but you're good.

  • Anyone else notice the joker gave batman the same address cu they both end up at Harvey's location?

  • Is it Heath Ledger trained by professional crazy/nuts mental patient before filming?

  • "Ohhh look at you go!" BEST LINE

  • I like bale first then Keaton (I could really give a

    Shot how the voice sounds).

  • Don't get me wrong, I love Tim Burton's Batman.

But come on... This Nolan Trilogy is so Sublime. You can't put a finger on it...

Even tho haters is trying to.

  • 2:99 to 3:04, EPIC JOKER LAUGH!

  • @supxtra2 2:99 or 2:59?

  • @Nevermore035 I meant 2:59. My bad lol

  • the thing about htis movie is that in the original movie the green hair and white skin isnt makeup its his skin :(

  • pause, press 9, play - tickle fight!!

  • he should have went for dent....

  • @irishdan2007 doesn't matter, dent would have 'cracked' anyway. Imagine his girl with half a face. he would become the same i think

  • @callawaydekluizen no coz they werent in the places the joker said, if he went to save dent batman would have saved rachel whom he meant to save

  • Only The Joker Could Hit His Head So Hard Yet Get Riqht Back Up

    Id Black out Lmao

  • Joker: Ok batsy let's do this in the old way

    Knock, Knock

    Batman:Come in

    Joker:*Facepalm*

  • Did anyone realize, that the Joker gave the addresses the other way around? batman says I am going after Rachael, but he actually found Dent there, which made Rachael die. It was fucking Genius how he tricked batman.

  • @Younessrocks No shit, Sherlock. That was the Point

  • this...was...just....film...history well done christopher, well done christian but godam Heath you have just owned your role this is acting-10 Heaths 'acting'-too much to count R.I.P

  • this joker really lets out the anarchist in you

  • He said he was going after Rachel, right?

  • @IblisIves He thought he was going after Rachel but The Joker switched the adresses so Rachel actually were where he said Dent was and vice versa.

  • Say what you will about Bale's version of Batman, 2:30 - 3:00 he just owns the role, completely convincing he is on the verge of ripping the joker apart if he has to.

  • @perezmj Christian bale was terrible. His voice was idiotic, michael keaton was the true batman sorry to say. Joker carried this movie, when he talked we all listened. No one gave a danm about Batmans speech. Everyone cared about Jokers speeches which is why the movie was so great.

  • @drathjon No, Bale owns Keaton. Keaton KILLS. That automatically disproves any chance of his Batman being Batman. The ONE thing you don't change about B-man is his no killing policy WHICH HE OPENLY FUCKING DOES IN BURTONS films. His voice is great, but IT IS overdone AT TIMES. Its not as bad as him killing people. No, the parts of this film were when Batman takes down the SWAT team and the ending, both of which JOKER IS NOT IN

  • @drathjon

    best parts

  • @perezmj

I HATE people who insult Bale. The man IS Batman to me. The ending of TDK just cements it for me. He looks the part and everything. Bale is the best Wayne and Batman. The voice gets out of hand a few times, but most of the time its pretty decent. At least its not KILLING, fucking keaton

  • @perezmj Yep! Just goes to show you how crazy the Joker actually is. If Batman ever came at me like that, I'd hide under the table and NEVER let go! *lol*

  • Ok, @ Seanshines, I would say ur a huge moron, but what is ur argument? And to the people postulating the address situation: Duh

  • incredible acting

  • With every year Heath's acting was getting better and better. So sad we lose so true actor like him.

  • 2:12 look at the jokers hands.

  • @picsmics4 The joker knew batman would go after rachel so he lied to him about the addresses

  • This is for everyone who still talks about joker closing his eyes before his head is smashed on the table, it's clear that the sec before joker closed his eyes he looks to his left seeing batman in the mirrors realizing that he's behind him, so he closed his eyes knowing that somethings gonna happen. RIP HEATH

  • @horror455 I think it was because of the bright light going on. Remember Joker was kept in the dark.1) to see if Joke would be afraid and talk or 2) to have Batman in there without Joker knowing. I'll go with number 2

  • so why did batman tell em he's going after Rachael? he went after dent and had everyone else go to dent too... O.o

  • @picsmics4 I think Joker lied about the addresses, I think he switched the names around on purpose.

  • @picsmics4 He intended to go after Rachael, but the Joker lied about the addresses

  • @picsmics4 As the other people said, he did it so Rachael died and Dent would survive and Dent would think everything was the Batman (and the Joker just more Batman then Joker's) fault that she died(cause he thought they chose Dent and not her to live), so he turned against the Batman and his allies as you know if you've seen the movie.

  • @picsmics4

They other guys are right; the Joker switched the addresses. Gordon told Dent at the end (at the bombed out building) "I know; I was here, trying to save her." because he'd thought it was where Dent was.

  • this mask sucks. it kinda hexagonal.

  • Christian Bale was amazing in this movie. Heath Ledger was just out of this world.

  • Also at 2:25 Look at jokers hands. his fingers are facing him then they turn to batman. then turn back ;p

  • EVERYONE READ THIS IS FUNNY(Kinda)

Then try to pause on 1:58-1:59

Look at the mirror on batmans right.

You can see a camera man !

Thumbs up if you see it !

  • @razorsharp3 it could be the interrogation camera xD

  • LOLZ i laff during this scene all the freakin time

  • please somebody tellem what did he say at min 1:52 "I'm not a monster, I'm just the ..... what?"

  • @7ALONSOO7:

He says, "I'm not a monster, I'm just ahead of the curve".

  • I really wanted to see joker beat the crap out of batman. Villain FTW

  • where is HEATH LEDGER???????? he deserve an Oscar for this!!!! The Joker is soooooo great!!!!!

  • @7ALONSOO7:

    ...he did get an Oscar.

  • @7ALONSOO7 actually he got an Oscar :)

  • I just love how he makes the sound with his tongue before he speaks!

  • did anyone else notice that the joker closed his eyes b4 batman pushed his head onto the table? it showed that he was expecting it. but hes still a very good actor!

  • @HeartialTV Stay inside a dark room for 5 minutes or so, and then look into a strong light source. Then you'll know!

  • watch this and listen to "only you" by the platters at 1:50

  • @theXtreme1man wats its supose to happen?? hahaa

  • @3LeGoLocX ahhhh...it sums up thier relationship so well dont it?

  • Comment removed

  • Criminals are our modern society, joker is all the politicians in their real form

  • This was my favorite scene in the whole movie. Showing no sign of pain and laughing it off at the fact that Batman can't kill him. THAT'S the true nature of the Joker.

  • @BermudaPenguin07 There was a woman by herself like right behind me, when joker was laughin during the beating, she was like omg...

  • just love how he takes the punch but still laughing

  • If you search for Joker in the dictionary, you will see the name Heath Ledger.

  • Heath Ledger is acting? That's not acting....that's actually melting into the role.....

  • @bryanosb Bale and Ledger left the room way before filming...

All that's left on-screen is Batman and The Joker.

  • Didn't Heath go insane after getting into his character?

  • @SaraLovesMusic21 No lol he died of a overdose

  • is it weird that he reminds me of my guitar teacher with a hint of George Carlin?

  • Bale was really good in this, but legder was just fucking amazing

  • One might say the Joker interrogates Batman

  • Did anyone notice the camera's reflection at 1:59?

  • batman is bad ass, but i dont like his helmet, to round

  • no one will be beat heath leadgers joker,

  • he closed his eyes a little too early. 0:03

  • @ralphtan when you're in the dark for so long, you'd might blink too if the lights were switched on

  • @ralphtan he did that because of the light

  • Is it possible to be in love with a fictional character who thinks he's a bat?

  • More like; Heath Ledger owns Christian Bale

  • 37 ppl got interrogated by Batman

  • 1:40 to 1:46 , i agree with joker

  • @p4rtT1me0tAku Me too. He's totally correct.

  • someone who s not afraid of pain or death? brrrr! no that s terrifing!

  • "Which one you going after?" "RACHEL!" SCREW THE OTHER GUY I WANNA FUCK THE GIRL xD

  • i think that Jim Carey would be an amazing joker if he didnt already play riddler before

  • @ScreamForJoni I was thinking the exact same

  • the joker got that mean cotton mouth lol

  • In a way, joker was more sane then everyone.

  • the best joker ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @edwardd6681 turn around and look behind you.

  • @edwardd6681 fuck you

  • I AM THE NIGHT!

  • Heath Ledger- One of the best Jokers

Christian Bale- Sounds like he's choking on his tongue

  • "LIKE A LEPER!"

  • id hate to be a buzz kill but i didnt really like heath ledger as the joker he wasnt insanely pyschopath to me i was hoping he woulda been like the joker from batman arkham asylum and arkham city but still he done pretty good

  • @HORDEFTW141 Well the thing is, I don't think the Joker is all that crazy. Crazy in the way he wants to see the world destroyed, yes, but it takes more than a deranged psychopath to accomplish such a goal. It takes a genius, someone charismatic, someone who knows how people tick and how to manipulate them best, someone who knows where the smallest spark can light the biggest fire. Heath Ledger, I feel, filled the role of the Joker perfectly, he made him that man who manipulated events and people

  • @TheBovineLord And he was crazy at the same time. >:3

  • @kylechase01 I did wow you read my mind lol

  • thumbs up if u came here after the college humor vid

  • Pause exactly @ 1:59. Look to RIGHT of screen & you'll see reflection of camera crew. No it's not the cops behind the 2 way mirror. Pause EXACTLY @ 1:59

  • Joker: Look at you go! Does Harvey know about you and his little bunny?

    Batman: Where are they?

The Joker: Killing is making a choice.

    Batman: Where are they?

The Joker: Choose between one life or the other. Your friend, the district attorney or his blushing bride-to-be...

The Joker: You have nothing! Nothing to threaten me with, nothing to do with all your strength.

  • @OfficerHotpants159

Yeah we all just watched the same video mate...

thanks for the transcript we were all desperate for one...

  • @themenaceanish I disagree. Bale was good in TDK, its just that Ledger was phenomenal.

  • @themenaceanish

    Thumbs down. I totally disagree.

  • @Nineteen1900Hundred Most people agree that Batman was lame in Dark Knight.

  • Love how serious batman gets!

  • best scene in the movie. the joker just tells 110% the truth. joker is the real hero

  • This was one good ass movie man I swear i could watch it almost all day.

  • I don't see Heath Ledger at all; I only see the Joker.

  • @0neofthem in the very beginning of the movie in the bank scene after he says "i believe what dosnt kill you simply makes you stranger" and he smiles u can tell in that instant that its Heath Ledger he always smiles like that

  • Speaking of religion, it was Joker's insights in this movie that inspired me to come up with my own axiom: that most people treat their religious beliefs and morals like the fine china in the house--they like to keep it on display to show off and impress people, but there never seems to be an appropriate time to actually USE it.

  • @MiketheCabbie so true. I stumbled upon that philosophy a couple of years ago.

  • If you just listen to him he sounds a bit like Charlie Sheen.

  • 0:49 = epic giggle!!

  • the greatest Batman ever!!...how great bale would be teamed up with Welling in all out hero movie

  • @apollonas101

    That would be awesome!

  • My teacher showed us this clip during our English class to kick off our unit all about persuasion and the whole ethos, pathos, logos stuff. The analysis we did after watching this scene made me love it even more! What the top 2 comments said are so true. There's so much more to this than you think, when you actually stop and listen. Best superhero movie ever!!!

  • you complete me ? gay ( jk i love joker gona be him 4 hollowen party

  • Heath Leadger's Joker will never be outdone. Just pure perfection!

  • @Astr8gayguy what about the mark hamil joker. he was my best joker

  • @Astr8gayguy Actually, Mark Hamil's Joker is 100x better.

  • not a bad act as a joker but mark hamill is better.

  • @superxxx60 Piss off!

  • @pred117 lol whats that all about?

  • the difference between this joker and the others is that this one didn't fall in a tank of acid...think about that

  • what does he sayafter "i'm not a monster, i'm just the..."?

  • @sekirk "i'm not a monster, i'm just ahead of the curve" suggesting that he understands things better than most which i can see some truth to, scary stuff

  • @jhibbitt1 thanks that makes a lot more sense than what i thought it was haha. I have to say i remember watching the Scarecrow in Batman Begins but he definatly scared me more, yet hes so fascinating!

  • we missed out on too much

  • why does this video crack me up all the time xD

  • Heath Ledger nailed The Joker perfectly ! :D This movie rocks ! :)

  • did anyone see how the joker closes his eyes b4 batman hit his head ?? like he know that he was behind him.. the joker rules..

  • @darkken1000 Or, you know, the sudden change in light from dark to super bright made him squint?

  • christian bale is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so GAY!!!

  • @UlyssesFrankfurter he's only as gay as your two dads

  • @TrackStar828 that's pretty gay

  • Didn't Batman hit The Joker on the right hand, but is holding up his left hand after it's hit? Unless i'm missing something subtle...

  • its hard too believe there was a tv show of these two surfing....lol

  • i wondor how much lipstick ledger digested in the movie

  • Batman is authoritarianism, Joker nihilism.

  • This is a hundred times better than any conventional hero\villain fist fight.

  • this movie sucked

  • @JadedRoy Your mother sucks
