I'm 13 and have been playing guitar for 2 years. So I do respect both guitarists but i think Slash's solos are a lot more effective because of the long notes and bends ect. Kirk Hammet is very tallented but his solos are a little too over the top and he needs to slow his solos down to make them more dynamic.

Kirk plays fast and Slash solo slow, so Slash stands for rhythm guitar but Kirk is not enough to excel. Kirk has a faster and more dynamic when the solos are fast, but Slash is not as dynamic when they are fast.
