Thanks for the video. I'm planning to get this, since it's said to have old school combat and exploration mechanics... unlike Final Fantasy XIII, which has no exploration until disc 3 and combat is practically automatic.

I have to agree I'm not a fan of the character designs either. Sarah is cute though with her glasses. Not sure about her mushroom sleeves. I am also very glad our Queen does not dress like Ming. *shudder*

No, it's just the costumes...they are ugly. And the women are ugly also. When it comes to costume designs, my boat sadly always sinks.

You are stuck with the same clothes through the game. But you get new rings, gears, weapons, etc. And the diff types of rings whether they be fire water smoke etc they all make your weapons look diff, like a big sword with fire twirlin around it.

love the soundtrack, best in an rpg game out so far.

Well, they're there for a STORY reason, and a pretty good one. It doesn't make sense logically why they're actually FIGHTING, but still, they're there as skill-link fodder =/
