@jdcproducts - Elders have been more conditioned by life because most of them have been through extremes that a younger generation has not. It's understandable considering the hardships. A younger generation hasn't had it as hard, therefore the perception from elders is that we are much better off. Spirituality and science are now coming together. The facts are becoming more clear, which makes them easier to share. It's taken some time, but my parents are starting to come around. ;)

What interests me is that there are at least some of the older generation that "understands" this new way of thinking about things like spirituality, consciousnesses, reality, ect. The elders around me hold wise words of wisdom learned from the school or hard knocks but I lose them when I try to talk about things like this. Hopefully during this new era we are moving into, I will be able to speak more with my family about these exciting new ideas as well.
