Jesus wouldn't have to belong to a political party, because he is a party unto Himself, called the "owner and creator." We really don't have a choice in how he governs us because he created us and owns the created world. Jesus would be the monarch, or the ruler as King. It definitely would not be republican as we know the US is today.
I thought that the president had to accually exist. But if thats not true I would like to nominate Santa Clause for pres. You have to admit, he is one hard working guy. And he always gets the job done.
Like Jesus would have anything to do with ideology - Jesus would be in the poorest nations helping the poorest people - like Jesus For President 08 video says - Jesus was a community organizer - Poutus Pilot was a GOVENOR
This guy is insane. He's simply laying out the platform of the religious right/Moral Majority/evangelical republicans and saying that that's how Jesus would do it. Completely out of touch with the Biblical truth.
For Jesus, church and state are one?! What?! This guy isn't reading the same Bible I'm reading.
i disagree I think Jesus would let us choose. Yes he would be against abortion but Jesus never forced us to believe. He let us choose So in that case I believe that he would respect separtaion of church and state. The only problem would be the honesty one and we could change that if everyone would.
It's impossible 4him 2be prez he would not want 2be. If we R N a democracy ppl rule. we have 2vote him N. But if we live in a theocracy God rules, then this becomes a kingdom ruling us. If we made him prez we lower his divinity N the God head body N put him on a natural level w/man N the ppl hanging over his head N would B able 2B impeached if we chose 2or a coup break out N he's over thrown or killed. If he were prez he'd take a step back from all power 2a Gov that gives him limited power
Jesus Christ is God, not subject to human politics. Ron Paul, a man however, is the most Christ-like candidate any Christian called to vote should seriously consider. As for the thousand year reign with the saints, no where in Scripture is any witness this will necessarily be on earth. Also, it is written in 2Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. [2nd coming last day end game]
"Jesus Christ is God, not subject to human politics" Yes, you are right, he is not subject to politics, but he is political. Many of the statements he made were political statements. You can overcome Roman rule by walking the second mile, or turning the other cheek, because their were rules on how Roman soldiers could hit you and how far they could make you walk. "King of the Jews" is a political statement, "Kingdom of God" is political language.
Why would Jesus want to be president Of U.S. You would have to take down those statues and all the images first, 2nd this is the hoome of NWO, look on our dollar bills. 3RD Jesus thrown is in the New Jerusalem. Were he is King oF Kings.

Jesus is definitely republican. No doubt about that in my mind.
But because He loves us all, He would most probably be log cabin republican.

Are you kidding me?! If Jesus were to run for President, I would cast a vote for everyone. Like it or not.
The irony of this discussion is, He is coming back to reign as King, Ruler, President, Magistrate, etc. etc. etc.
HAIL KING JESUS!

"I believe in a monarchy!"
That should be enough to have someone admitted.
