@MrJosh91189 Actually Puck passed away before Roxy. He died the last day of Sep last year and she passed away two weeks later. Now Percy's favourite ferret is Mitzy.

@MrJosh91189 Aw thanks :) Heartbreaking, though. So many cancers they get as they age. Last year I had both Sassy and Roxy under treatment and lost them two days apart - and Puck suddenly just two weeks before them.

How do you know when the wrestling between a cat and ferret gets out of hand? because I really want this 4 month old ferret and if i did get him i would be hesitant to introduce him to one of my cats garfield and Im not sure if he would be hurting the poor little ferret or not? how do i know?

Have you ever had ferrets, though? And have you FULLY researched owning them? They're not a pet to be bought impulsive. They're a lot of work and with vet bills few and far between once they start aging and get the various diseases they're prone to vet bills can get enormous.

Well when Percy ran away that's when it turned to fighting or at least "I don't want this anymore". I haven't yet seen a cat get aggressive to a ferret - not in ten years I've had ferrets. It's the other way around. And it's not really aggression it's just ferret play is biting - that's what they do to eachother. Cats have the advantage of being able to jump up where ferrets can't - so they can usually get away. You can also intervene and scruff the ferret and give it a firm "No".

Also note the cat's body language. Watch Percy at the beginning of this video - he's laying down and pawing at the ferret and then flips himself over. If he was angry or in fear he wouldn't be laying there so vulnerable.

Younger ones, yes. I have quite a few pics of my ferrets as kits putting the chomp down on a cat ear LOL As they grow up they seem to like to get under them just to piss them off LOL Or maybe cuz they're snuggly warm!

Wait, puck is from a shelter, well I was wondering if you know any shelters around IL, because I keep searching and can't find any. I already have two and I want another one but I don't want to buy from a pet store when there are so many homeless ferrets :(.

Actually it's leopard spotted. Doesn't really match my room but the cats love it. Then again, neither does my sock monkey sheets lol I found the canopy bed at Target.
