  • Bought a 45 Watt version, looked pretty much the same from china and by harvest time the thing had broken down. My plant grew ok considering the wattage but I reckon the quality of the parts are below standard. It was meant to last 50 000 hours but it didn't even get to 3000 hours lol

  • nice idea, now insert the right LED instead of the cheap chinabuys

  • Nice! Is this a bathroom vanity light?

  • plant grow is good but you need trap sysyem for the flowers build in sow first the normal light to flower periode that the purple to end then the last 2 weeks only the blue

  • LOLOLOLOL

  • there 15 wat bag of shite i got one to veg and half the lights went in a week just shit

  • This is garbage, they may if you have 10 of them all over your grow room walls, if you only have a 4x4 room, then you might grow some simple plants but never will it be powerful enough to grow Cannabis. I use a 378 watt-126-3watt bulbs in a 10x10 tent I use 6 of them, talking pounds. Plus they have magnified optical lens's to make the 3 watt bulbs as bright as 6 watt bulbs, its amazing, plus my light bills are pretty normal. No Heat sig.

  • i have 6 of these that are only half working.... 2 still work but i gave them away for living room mood lights...

  • Comment removed

  • dealextreme 32€ !!!

  • They work great to supplement light and when you have lets say 10 of them going inside on a veg state well they are working and well at that. 1or2 wont do CRAP but in numbers they work.

  • Nicht kaufen!!!

    Don´t buy it!!!

  • I have some of them and they works very good- my tomatoes from seeds are strong and happy. Also my basilicum. I would buy these panels again.

  • that thing will NOT grow plants i assure you. gotta have 3-5 watt LEDs minimum

  • You can't grow with 14 watt grow panels iEricThomas LEDs r the future I will never sell another hid light. I have the 180 watt UFO 7 band better than ProSource worldwide email me for price u get 2 for $600 ProSource sells one 5 band 180 for 600, I use Cree LEDs people act like they invented the LED, which was invented by a Russian 85 yrs a go, I know LEDs you want buds talk to me

  • @iEricThomas using 90 watts produces well,i here that 7 band is good now ,what about the blackstar 240 watt its sposed to be good, donno if its worth buyin the 500 watt ,whaddya think

  • look at that piece of shit!!! good LED's cost money, check out BlackStar LED's you get the best bang for the buck

  • Looks like the Lite Bright I had 20 years ago.

  • @sixjoin I was joking.....I don't know anything about marijuana.

  • these 15w panels cant even start a seedling...dont waste your time

  • @boombaklot actually that's not true. I have one, and I've been growing under it since last year. Perfect for seeding and veg..need an upgrade for flowering though.

  • For people building there own LED grow lights, the patent made by NASA states "the proportion of twelve red 660 nm LEDs, plus six orange 612 nm LEDs and one blue 470 nm LED was optimal" And if you don't want any discoloration of your plants you can add green LED's but they are not needed for healthy plant growth.

  • @TickyTack23 how many watts should each led be?

  • @773steve If you are asking this question, you need to be concerned a lot more than just the watts the LEDs. There is more involved just read the patent yourself it explains everything that you need to do, and it can be found on google patents.

    Patent number: 6921182

    Filing date: May 13, 2003

    Issue date: Jul 26, 2005

  • LEDs are perfect for side lighting IMO, more research needs to be done as far as which combination of blues and reds will imitate sunlight the best though... for now I'd say stay away from them unless you want side lighting, but in a few years these will probably be the light's we'll be using the most

  • crap - junk - good for a kids room or something, not for plants, personal exp.

  • If you get a one built by a legitimate growing company (or research and build yourself) your can get extremely supriseing results!

    Heres the math..

Plants under HPS Light use 10 to 16% of the light emmited.

Under LED They use 90 -98% of the light also produce extemely low temp lvls

    100=aprox1000HPS

People once used Mercury Vapour bulbs(MBF) Alow this product to grow with research it could remove almost all the problems with current lighting.

There is videos and pictures of great success

  • LED LIGHTS ARE NOT FOR FLOWERING. PERSONAL EXP. GOOD FOR VEGING TAKE MY WORD FOR IT

  • What LEDs are in this, they look super weak/garbage

Is that a 220V plug? You want me to dedicate a whole circuit to an LED grow light lol

  • 13 watts right?

  • I got 1 of these lights on eBay for $30 and it works great! My plant is growing fast, I'm using it for only 1 plant though........

  • Well maybe just 1 or 2 wont do much, but supposing you had about 15 of them? You could hang them edge to edge in your grow tent and it would put out enough light to grow something decent. I would rather have loads and loads of lower powered LEDs spread out giving an even coverage all over the place, rather than a handful of higher powered LEDs just at the top of the plant. Anyone have any thought on this??

  • great lighting

  • im just gettin sum for to supplement my side branches aswell as useing CFLs gives a broader light spectrum

  • Yep these are super weak. Building my own now.

  • garbage

  • these panels may good for bud phase so u use the panels close to the plants

  • 14watts total. the bulbs are .006watts each. Waste of money.

  • They are good if you know how to use them there meant to be right on top of plants not 3 feet above each panel is good for one plant

  • These people are full of crap. This is great supplemental light. You should hang these up like pictures in your grow tent!

  • ahahah i have two of these. pieces of shit, got them both for 40

  • I taped 82 LED flashlights together and got pounds, the plants grew through the ceiling, and the roots went through the floor of the house and grew in the dirt under the foundation. The buds were soo big i had to trim with a lumberjack chainsaw.

  • @MWalcher1 were the flashlights red and blue or just white?

  • @MWalcher1 was the lightspectrum wide enough to get normal harvest ?

  • @MWalcher1 lol tht would be awsome

  • @MWalcher1 how many times did u change the batteries?

  • @MWalcher1 lmao

  • @MWalcher1 i almost pissed myself.thanks for the laugh.lol

  • I assume you have all bought these and tried growing with them?

  • don't buy it, won't grow anything, maybe mold

  • JUNK PURE JUNK

  • @youarenotverysmart The product is, but the idea isn't. LEDs can produce the exact frequency of light required by plants - and no I don't mean illegal ones. Hydroponics are used for many nurseries growing plants for the public. LEDs do work when set to change the frequencies and colours.

  • not true

  • @0287cmcg2007 What is your opinion on these cheaper low power panels? Have you grown anything with them yet? I am interested in buying maybe a dozen or so and completely decking out my whole grow area with them. Using them top to bottom, you could literally blast light at every budding site including the ones at the bottom that usually don't grow very well due to lack of light penetration. The whole plant would benefit from even coverage.Good idea? Bad idea??

  • @blaster2012 better of buying a good one as so many people are now knocking up cheap/crap led lights with a shit output/spectum...look at the sonlight range..they make the mh and hps lamps after all

  • that thing is not good for much except maybe if you like disco :P
