What is up with those ridiculous facial expressions. My friends and I are laughing our asses off right now. She is not as great as Sadie but she is talented nonetheless. I still love you Kaya but those facial expressions have got to go. It takes away from the beauty of your talent and makes it funny instead of hypnotic which is what usually happens when watching a talented dancer such as yourself.
her dancing is very good but what is not good is her expressions. She did not get that in our culture belly dance is a art that should be very sensual and mysterious. That is not supose to look like a porn moovie. And Sadie is better in that. When welook at Sadie dancing we almost forget that she is a white woman dancing oriental, cause she is so good, But when we watch Kaya we know that she is just a white girl that LEARNED to dance.
better than shakira, love ya kaya! :-) remember that the belly dance was once porno in its old Middle Oriental good times, belly dance is not for fool innocent girls seen by their moms!! belly dance should be sensual and sexual, for real women, not for real dumb pathetic kid girls that are scared about big boobs and big ass.

I think Kaya holds back. She seems very primal, passionate, on fire when she dances and SMILES :), and the RULES of "belly dance" would never accept raw emotion like she has. I want to see her let loose. . .
She's as good as Sadie, but doesn't use as much of the stage with her choreography. Don't know how this would look at a live performance, but it was a cute routine. Live it might be boring, unless you're a guy!
