  • So lovely. So melancholy. So wonderful to see someone hold himself to such a high standard.

  • Lovely arrangement. I kept getting stuck on middle section. you cracked it. Could have been written for guitar.

  • Awesome!

  • I play guitar and piano and am working on this piece on piano currently. You've done an AWESOME job transcribing. Keep up the good work.

  • well done buddy.

  • Fantastic!

  • Really amazing! I very like this piece of music and your performance is excellent...

  • Wow!! Fantastic!! You make it look easy, well I guess it is easier for, then would be for me. Thanks for sharing!!

  • Excellent job I never knew there was a guitar transcription for this piece; I like your rendition.

  • This is great! Beautiful solo guitar arrangement!

  • Is there sheet music of your arrangement available?

  • Hi, I'm interseted in your use Dropped G for this wonderful performing making rather easier as possible... Nice idea! Now I'm revising my own arrangement, while I take Dropped D with the capo on 1-fret, for realizing the original piano key. Anyway, I really love your play... Thanks a lot ;-)

  • Lovely playing, and arrangement smartly done!

  • Amazing... I've arranged this piece in normal tuning but had to transpose to E minor. Will link you the video

  • Ok, I just played thru this one (most of it) with you here. And now I gotta thank you for the drop G tuning arr. because it's more playable than Laibmans which was in regular tuning (Capo II) I have his recording but no music and it's clear there are some 7 fret stretches in his which seem absurd to me (makes it too much of a "high maintenance" tune, for the likes of me anyrate).

  • I think your arrangement is a lot like Laibman's but in a different tuning.

Even though the fingering is symmetrical. You seem to have avoided some of his

    near-impossible stretches.

  • that's David Laibman's arrangement, not yours. But a tricky one to play.

  • nice piece!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice piece!!!!

  • you are so great! *bows*

  • grr, I'm so jealous! i'm trying to learn it from the video, and it isn't a simple feat. i've been playing for some time and rag is something i love. i'm better and bluegrass and jazz though. i hope i can get the hang of this soon ^_^ love you style

  • Yikes....and with only 12 frets! Really fine.

  • This arrangement sounds terrific, and you play it very well. Thank you for posting.

  • I love this piece. I first heard it on a freebee CD by the USC Handbell Choir. You have created a very impressive arrangement. It makes me want to pick up my guitar again. Excellent!
