When the owner brougt the Jeep to me to paint, it already had 36" tires/lift kit/bumpers etc. But with a Jeep it is never done...so it just grew from there....took probably 4 years to get to where it is...also the owner just changed the fenders out to the rock crawler type and put a complete rollcage in...so it is never done...

@burnrubber99 lower your trannie brush plate, use a double ujoint at the rear, turn your reaer diff upwards about 10degrees but you have to cut you leaf spring mounts off the dif and reweldafter turning.

Also had someone say it was a trailer queen and never went offroad. At 1:34 it sure looks like it is getting used..........Drove it to the mud hole, went everywhere most people were getting stuck....also had it floating in one spot. Then he drove home with it. Nothing broke, didn't need a trailer at all. HUH

How hard is it? This Jeep is in the middle of Florida - this means there is alot of sand, mud and water. It was not built for rock crawling. If it was in Tennessee or in Moab Utah it would have been built for that.

Agreed if you get out enough its amazing what you see some of the four cylinders do. I've been pretty surprised myself its all about the gearing. I have the original straight six in my 79 cj7 I opted for 4.56's but i should have went with 4.88's or better. Was worried about speed on the road i was going to use it for road use as well.

Not very many rocks in FL, lots of sand though. Wide tires are great for the "Sugar" sand here. Keeps the Jeep floating on top.
