@PIKE1964 ...many years ago when I was still a teen, I became a registered Basset Breeder. My mother would often find me lying in the big kennel run with 6 Basset pups and their mum, crawling all over me - it was bliss! I kept one of the pups and also got a West Highland White (thus 2 Bassets & a Westie at one time). I've had a myriad of dogs and breeds in my time (loved them all), but life just isn't the same without a Basset. Have fun with your Vizsla.
