@leegotlost in the original Exile trilogy, you had to go into combat mode to kill anything. That was really clunky. Vogel just has 3 permanent people who work for him, not dozens, but every time he does another game, everything is better. He would LOVE to have the money to do more, but he does not. And he has NEVER sacrificed the story for graphics.
@Ihrainov Speaking of Blades, I wish Vogel had made 10 or 12 Scenarios instead of 3 or 4. Small Rebellion is interesting, Valley of the Dying Things is GREAT, but K. Z. Run is rather a letdown.
pfff u call that hard? walk into Lorelei, Gale, or Sharimik, and try that on.Thats like level 3 takes on Tztok Jad if you don't know what ure doing. I took over Inn of Blades, before i even registered the game (on Exile and Avernum). simple.
I remember the gold old days, in Exile 3, when I'd fuck up entire cities with my brother, and then sometimes we'd just cast Quickfire in a small room, open the door, and run like hell.
Lol I remember I used to do that... I'd cast it, hide in a tiny room, wait till everyone dies, loot and pillage then just restore the town with the editor.
try killing soldiers in Avernum 1 or 2. they used to be total badass'es'ess, but got weaker as the games progressed. i've killed town'zens of them :)

Avernum 4 was the first one I tried, for me it'll always be the best one :) Geneforge is cool too.

They're in order- I think,i haven't played avernum 4 or the mac version of 5 but so far 1-3 goes in order and blades is just a little treat

They're all in order apart from Blades of Avernum... which is where you play scenarios that you can make/edit or you can download scenarios.

Those guys are weak-sauce, try taking on a whole city, that'll be hard (easier to do in Avernum 3 in Inn of Blades)
