See now this video must be wrong because I laid down my Eyeblight's Ending like they said and used it on her nightmare.... Well then I laid down the Elvish Eulogist but I could not lay down the Elvish warrior after that...

PS3 and PC:

1.) Elvish Eulogist (also adds 1 elvish warrior token to field)

2.) Elvish Warrior (also adds 1 elvish warrior token to field)

3.) Eyeblight's Ending on Nightmare Horse (also adds 1 elvish warrior token to the field)

4.) Use Immaculate Magistrae's tap ability to Elven Riders

This makes a 3/3, a 13/13 (10 elves on field = +10 (1/1) counters )

It would be great if there was an opportunity to choose the required colour of basic land card manualy (on the battlefield, not library). But no. They made it auto and even worse in PC vers.

Since the game kept using up a green when I'd cast Eyeblight (it sucked that I couldn't figure how to assign and I had overlooked casting the other two first) I figured out another way but it wouldn't let me win. Cast Eulogist and Warrior, attack with all creatures but Immaculate Magistrate THEN when computer blocks, use Eyeblight on Phage then buff that creature by tapping Imm Mag for the win. Kept being a 18/18 Drove of Elves for me and I'd sac Eulogist just cuz. IT DOESN'T WIN! WHY?!

The reason why it's not working for some is because you MUST WAIT FOR ALL SPELLS TO FINISH BEFORE KILLING NIGHTMARE WITH EYEBLIGHT.

This way, the Riders have 13 attack instead of 10/11/12

How did you tap all your swamp mana when you used Eyeblight's Ending? When I do that it taps two swamp and one forest. Very annoying.

I've tried beating this challenge. I've looked up a lot of different guides for them, but none of them work. I can't summon both the Elven Eulogist and Elven Warrior. There are not enough land cards to do so. Is there an update they made to make this challenege more difficult?

yeah got that bullshit too. Got my Droves of Elves to 15 then when attacking use my destory card on the blocker and hit for 15 dmg on player. Yet no F**k*** dmg to player, WTF!!! Happen on the next challenge too where they last two card hits didn't do dmg to the player when they hit because not thet way they wanted it done. Sorry for raging but like seriously thats retarded.

There's no need to attack with everything when the attack does come. The Elvish Riders cant be blocked by anything except walls and things that fly, and since the Nightmare was the only flyer on that side of the board, the Riders slip by quite nicely doing the required 13 points in damage, thus ending her just as well.

I fucking hate this challenge, there was once i managed to do 15 damage on her but the game simply didn't consider it. If you don't do they way Wizards planned you won't win it.

All that you need to do to get around it is play the 2 forest creatures first, then destroy the nightmare card

This game is so bugged. Every challenge can be won easily but either your damage doesn't hit the opponent, or the card's abilities just do nothing.

PC USERS: i suggest you put down the elves first and use the eyeblight right after, since the game choose a bad way to use the lands and u can't play the elves if you use eyeblight's first because you remain with not enough forests.

@nicolamellon Good answer. It uses one of the forest cards every time - meaning you can't have an elf warrior - meaning you lose.

there is a huge glitch in the game i did mroe dmg then that and she still won...... i cast my euoligist then warrior declared all my attacks then i saw the one blocking droves of elves i did the destroy non-elf creature adn then i gto a token then tapped the elf to give him +1/+1 and he came out to be 18/18 yet she still won when no one was blockin my dude how is that possible?!?!? if u dont beleive me then repeat wht i jsut said and do it and u will see

@zehzinho85 I'm gonna say that the programmers just programmed the challenge mode to only let you win if you do it a certain way, and they just didn't see the way that you did it. That or Wizards hate us and want to piss us off.

No need to attack with everything. Elven Riders cannot be blocked there; the other fights are but a short waste of time.

Took a while doing a little algebra (about the elven tokens) to pass this challenge, although I did look for other possible paths after I had already found the solution. However, it seems there is always one linear solution to each challenge.

Destroy flying one with the card (forgot name)

Put down either of them elves that do +1/+1

Attack with everything

Then after they have chosen to block (you should have 1 left unblocked and your unblockable one)

Use the monsters enchant that doesn +1/+1 and put on either.

For the people having problems: You have to cast the 2 elves first, THEN play Eyeblight's ending. Then it will work.

new update or summit, now you have a swamp instead of forrest so you cant bring your elfy thingy out :/

When I use Eyeblight's Ending, it auto taps 2 swamps and a forest instead of 3 swamps. This shorts me one forest for this to work, also when I match up the challenge with the video, she has one more card on the table in this video than in my challenge. WTF?

Are the tokens getting into play automatically? (since the rule is only that you "may" get a token)

Missing a token is the only way I can think of of coming up one health short...

notice at 2:02 his elvish warrior actually is on the battlefield like it finally touches it instead of floating , once this happens then use immaculates abiltity on elven riders

I was able to kill her by Imperious Perfect, attack with all except Immaculate Magistrate, then destroy whatever is blocking the Drove of Elves with Eyeblight's Ending, and use Immaculate Magistrate's ability on Drove of Elves. Drove of Elves does 15 damage on Liliana. But....... apparently it's not the right way to complete the challenge, and thus the game doesn't register the damage when I *should* actually kill her. Thought it was a bug until I saw your video just now.
