@JohnnyW8175 I aren't 100% sure, but I think Lavelle is more like an A&R man than anything else. I don't recall seeing his name alone on much aside dj mixes.
The psychonauts are amazing though, although I have only heard the Essential Mix, Novamix and Time Machine.
does anyone know of a tribal gathering tape where James Lavelle mixes future sound of londons Papa new guinea?Really old tape but the mix was sublime.
completely rinsed this at school. the full thing is epic.
never forget the first time i heard it in 1996.
It really was a WTF moment. Was like something from an another planet.
Psychonauts really should have got more credit tho. They were only mentioned in tiny credits (and i mean tiny) in the inlay. Their mixes were all class.
This mix alone introduced me to so much music - from Carl Craig to Peshay .
Quintesential mix of the 90. All those gold coins spend on Street Fighter were well worth it (I think...) Been trying to find the full mix for ages! This will do for now :)
so sick ah

This is produced by The Psychonauts and they got zero recognition for doing it!
