@rickymaster328 On Platinum you can find it on Route 214 (don't need Dowsing Machine App on poketch) you can find it on wild magmar but it is better to use it to evolve it from the route 214 because the chances of finding the magmarizer on a magmar are fairly slim.

If you have Diamond/Pearl, you can find the magmarizer on wild magby Stark mountain or Route 227. You need the Leaf Green Cart in the GBA slot on your DS. The chances of getting the magmarizer on the magby better on diamond.

you may want to keep your old DS lite because if you have leafgreen you can find magby's around mt. stark. when you go up there you may also want to bring a pokemon that knows thief, but im expereiencing that same problem because you have a 5% chance that a magby may be holding a magmarizer. i want one myself, but i dont want to risk someone stealing my magmar LOL
