I visited this place last month. Man its is true that switzerland is heaven on east. But most importantly they have preserved it. I wished I could live there forever :(

Haha you have the most monotome voice, but you should do this for a living. It's actually incredibly informative. Been to interlaken a couple of times and you should really stress that interlaken is 10000000 times more beautiful than you can see on the camera. <3

i went here 2 years ago when travelling through some of europe. it was only meant to be a stop off point but i ended up staying for 4 nights. an absolutely incredible place & a slice of paradise, has to be seen to be believed

Hey Dennis! Thank you for this amazing vid. I've been uncounted times to Interlaken and Bernese Oberland and still love it. One of the most beautiful places on earth. I'm happy you enjoyed it too. I lived in Switzerland for nine years. Now live in Northern Ireland. I have been in Interlanken many times and have stayed in Lauterbrunnen many many times including during the Winter @ -25/-30oC. The revolving restaurant of Schilthorn was the sets of the 007 James Bond film on Her Majesty's Secret Service 1969. What a cool film.

Good video denniscallan. If you go back I can give you a few hints about places to visit that are not known on the usual tourist trail but are amazing.

hello I am planning to do my backpacking trip and I would like to know how much the train that takes you to see the glacier at the top of europe cost. So far I have managed to get the cost, timetables and everything needed to get to the west interlaken station. How do i get to the cable cars and to the top without paying $500+ for a tour guide.

The guided tour is a rip off. I lived in Switzerland for nine years and know just how the Swiss are. My advice is to do your research before you go. ie; find out about the area , the places you are going to. Buy a good guide book from amazon. And go it your self. $500 gets you far more info from Amazon that any guide will give you. If you need more help let me know.

Great film. From Kleine Scheidegg, you could have taken the train (or walk) down to Grindelwald instead of going back the same way. There you have a great view of the Eiger North Wall
