Actually, this is not even a sewer, its organic rather then artificial. If you look at a high enough resolution the sewer is organic (ie: meaty). Even the tool (camera) they used for this is used in surgery! They trick the eye by decreasing the resolution while cruising through the "sewer", in effect distoring the details while when they look at the actual "creature", they increase the resolution making it look only organic in certain spots.
