We made about 300 promo CDs, put them in slim cases with simple CD labels, and sold them all for $2 each within a weekend in Chicago. People would give us more just for the hell of it, believe it or not we sold one to Eddie Levert. He gave us $12 for one. Unfortunately that was back before our album was done so the music wasn't as good as it could have been. A lot of people said no, but all you had to do is be friendly like you were long time friends, ha real talk. 300 isn't a lot man, at all.
