@Tanneri18 About 55 min or so bashing. It's not quite double cause the truck is packing more weight. So if you keep the truck light and run just one 4S 4000, you get 30-35 minutes bashing time. At least I do. Racing time 4S, like 20-25 min tops.

i did in series like 3 times and had no problems it was crazy 6s to much 5s perfect but 8 was way to much

Parallel: 4S 4000 + 4S 4000 = 4S 8000

@jethro450 Which would give better run time? i'm just getting into electric. Lipos in particular... i did the whole nimh thing a while back.. not for me... and nitros just too loud. Working on building a slash up.. just looking for max run time not a backflip machine. Those batteries are sweet! i just found them on HC... just gotta figure out which wires to get heh

Very cool. I got a couple comments(I have the same setup basically).

Glad to see someone else run without a spur cover.

Cool that you can run 8s.

I like your velcro idea for the batteries.

One thing I could add, what I did is cut out the vents that pop up from the battery tray, that way you can run the battery cables through there, instead of trying to fight the fat wires (it doesnt stress the battery door.) It works really well with my turnigy 2's in series.

@zeppelin67637 Ya she's a funny kid. I have let her drive the big one before and she's even pulled off a backflip with it (on accident), but she's got pretty good at back flipping her mini. I've got video on here of her doing that, check my other videos.

You really only need 1 4S 4000. Try the Zippy Flightmax 20C 4S 4000 from Hobbyking for $36. It barely fits but it works.

@jethro450 hey do you think you can help me? something happened to me when i was driving my erevo. I/m guessing its the sliper clutch but im not sure. Have you ever broken your slipper clutch? if yes what happened? Thanks

@douhnutz Its pretty basic. I have had my clutch pads break when I wrecked with no dust cover.

I would pull it apart and look, running with broken pads is a very bad idea, it throws the balance of the drivetrain off.

When you re assemble it, tighten it down very snug, then back off the set nut 3/4 of a turn.

@douhnutz I find my ideal gearing on 4s is 18/54. My setup barely gets to 120 degrees, usually less.

I clocked mine at 40mph on that setup.

I bet if you threw a 20 pinion on with a 54 spur you could more than likely tap 55-60mph.
