  • LSWHO!!! Home to Jimmy Swaggart!!!

  • @greymoose1000 LSU #2 in one poll, #3 in the other - made those previously ranked #3 Ducks scream for AFLACCCC! And Jimmy Swaggart doesn't live at LSU. And LSU's band doesn't dance around like wild animals. It takes talent to march in the exact precision they do so well.

  • @ebbette How is old Jimmy Swaggard doing these days? How long has he been the LSWHO President?

  • By the way, I was NOT comparing Drum Corps lines to LSU. Just suggesting that if you want to hear MORE cadences, check out Corps lines. And the two EJ grads that wrote the cadence were Ricky and Ronnie Shepegral.

  • For modern lines look up Blue Devils, Cavaliers, Santa Clara Vanguard, Madison Scouts, we set the standards!!!!!

  • GSU before you start criticising Drum Corps cadences you might want to watch some drum corps drumlines. The lines in the movie "Drumline" wouldn't have a chance in competition!

  • Yes East Jeff alumni wrote the Bleu Raeders cadence while in the Bleu Raeders.

  • I think the drumline sounds great....one of the best collegiate. And by the way it's the Bleu Raeders cadence as in Bleu Raeders Drum and Bugle Corps from Metairie, Louisiana. And those of us who marched in the Bleu Raeders are damn proud that LSU Band is still using our cadence after all these years. They march that way for tradition. They are a also damn good at corps style marching! They have always had a lot of Drum Corps International members!!!

  • Thanks, i've always wanted to know what cadence that was. BTW didn't some alumni from east jefferson high school write it?

  • What's the difference between the two basses in front of the snares and the basses in the back?

  • The bass drums in front are used exclusively for the pregame show. The ones marching them are extra cymbal players.

  • ohh that explains the cymbal cases.

  • lol i have this cadence on my ipod

  • Its called a roll step, dude. Its a military or corp style march. Just because its not how you're used to marching, doesn't mean that its not marching. Some will say that the high knee stepping, or 90 degree marching used in the show bands, isn't really marching. But us older folks that have played in professional marching groups know that there is more than one way to skin a cat.

  • @bboud29 roll steps = life

  • LSU does do pregame fundamentals, just not all the time. Just like all the really good SEC bands except Georgia, who exclusively roll steps.

  • ohai! xD msg me. id is on my profile. i

  • How is this high schoolish? And PLEASE don't say because of the Bleu Raiders cadence.. Because the way LSU plays it, thats not high school ish.

  • thers are no dogs on this page. and nobody wacking anything either. but i do like the foo fighters.

  • Dude, shut up. You make the people who actually PLAY at Grambling (not just incoming freshmen like you) sound ignorant.

  • DAWG WATEVA MAN YA STUPID MAN YA AINT NO SHIT CAUSE YO BRAIN IS WACK YA ERD MEH MAN U BE IZ A FOO MAN LSU IS A DAWG YOU ERD MEH An the only think that is wack is your language

    foo

  • NO Southern holds it down baby!!!

  • Yeah i guess LSU has some bad little habits that might overshadow the band like winning SEC and National Championships. Meanwhile I can't name 2 schools that Grambling plays or 1 player on the team. So LSU's band might be high schoolish but so is Gramblings Football team.

  • Tell it to 'em

  • wow that is jaw-dropingly nice

  • wow i did good, ( i am the drum major) by the way

  • spoken with pride

  • nice
