Have any of you even looked at google earth? I mean this is surly vegetation. Mars has many forests located in various areas. Check back with my page in a couple weeks for a really cool video where you can actually see some of the shit better.. :) Go look in google earth at what your screen is, use a greyscale filter to look at them, the ones around 3 minutes are very real.

Not sure if you knew this, but there is a mars equivalent to google earth. I guess the thing to do would be to go there and drop down onto the surface to see what this looks like from a stand point of view. I've not looked myself, but it might help. Mind you, if these are trees, I'm sure they'd have blurred them or whatever probably.

Vegetation on Mars seems possible to me, and being much farther from the sun it would make sense for it to be sporadic growth spots as it appears to be.

These all look like holes with weathered cracking ice or sand around them from erosion or condensation. I don't think any life is possible on mars. In the soil samples that were recorded by the lander, no biological substances were ever reported. Very nice video though, I can give you a few stars on that one.
Wrong. Viking in 1976 made two experiments. For the first one life had been found. And it's the same thing for Phoenix probe. But NASA officially kept each time the second result.

Very Interesting, I agree it does look like vegetation. I think color photos would help prove if its trees or ice though. There are some other photos produced by the European probe that have what appear to be green plants I suggest examining as well.

Sure, but the more you look at photos of Mars, the more striking but common are these angular, symmetrical patterns, and "tree" shapes are easily seen to be cracks in thawing CO2 in some. The lower gravity and atm density has something to do with it. Yeah, my vote says some kind of life is there, but the geo formations are truly spectacular and not to be found on earth. When the climate was warmer, wow!

Let's say this kind of 'roads' can be natural. We find natural things like that on Earth. But once again, for different 'structures' in the vid, coral, plants, mold or something else, we now can't be sure, however we can bet it's alive, and Mars does't seem to be this desert planet some organizations want us to believe. Why speculate about things you see on images from the last century (MGS images) when there is much better recent imagery available taken by the HiRISE experiment of the MRO at
hirise . lpl . arizona . edu
(remove spaces)
For example, search for
PSP_003443_0980
and
PSP _002494_0980
in keyword search and take a look at the "RGB color (non-map projected)" versions of the images, and you will see that most of your "vegetation" are just cracks in the ice.
As i mentioned, these are "examples" for some of your images turning out to be something different when you examine the phenomenon in higher resolution. You now have a source for HiRISE imagery, why don't you just cross-check your findings and make a video of the phenomena which remain mysterious - like the dark dune spots for example - although they could be of geological origin, a biological explanation is also possible.
I'm glad you don't automatically throw away life supposition ;)

As for R0701100, i see the so-called "dark dune spots" (DDS) again, for which i agree, thet they *might* be of biological origin around a deepening with a slick bottom. The deepening looks a bit like a lake, though its probably ice. I's interesting that thee are more DDS around those, but it also possible that ice in those lakes favours the sublimation process (which is a non-biological explaination for the DDS). My conclusion: Interesting, i'm curious what further research will reveal.
Of course there are a lot of interesting features on mars, but i'm careful not to read too much into what i'm seeing. The simplest and most straightforward explaination often has the highest odds of being true, and since life is rather complex and not simple its most probably to as an explaination *if* simpler explainations exist.
As for the M1700612 image this looks to me like a dark substance (maybe dark sand) slid down the slope of a crescent shaped, and probably frozen (its in the southern polar region) wandering dune (has the shape of a typical wandering dune aslo found here on earth). Maybe the ice melted during summer and allowed the sand (of which the dune actually consists) to crumble through the hole. Other explainations might be true, but at a first glance this seems the most obvious to me.
When you follow the "webmap" links you will get a zoomable map of the Mars surface where the areas are marked for which images taken by the corresponding probe exist. To find out, whether there is HiRISE imagery, you need to find out the coordinates of the image and look at those coordinates in the HiRISE webmap. Note that: -N = +S, -E = 360 - E and so on, you sometimes need to convert the coordinates.
Of course there aren't HiRISE images for all of the areas in question, but for some - and even images in the proximity might answer some questions as they might show similar phenomena.
I don't know why you can't open the image, i don't have problems with that, but then the images are very large and although the JPEG files are quite small, the images take a huge amount of memory when loaded into RAM. Try different software to open it - some programs might cope better with too few memory.
You are talking about the images from the hirise.lpl site, right? As far as i can see they are all either JPEG or JPEG2000 (.JP2 - extension, can be selected in upper right menu). In case you downloaded the JP2-images you need a software that can read JPEG2000 or some kind of plugin for photoshop (don't know if it doesnt already come with JPEG2000 support). If its just the extension missing, just add it to the file (.jpeg, .jpg, .jp2, depending on what you downloaded)

Not sure if you knew this, but there is a mars equivalent to google earth. I guess the thing to do would be to go there and drop down onto the surface to see what this looks like from a stand point of view. I've not looked myself, but it might help. Mind you, if these are trees, I'm sure they'd have blurred them or whatever probably.

NASA is no longer a civilian agency for the exploration of space. It is a branch of the military with all intentions of continuing to weaponize space. HOWEVER..."Don't be afraid!!!" We will be told it is swamp gas caused by a temperature inversion and how our government will protect us from the massive threat of "WHAT? (invasion)" . It's vegetation. What we are seeing is the remains of a living world now comprised of simple organisms and possibly some very strange plant life. Mars is still very much alive and one of the most recent admissions of NASA are the appearance of methane plumes which prove that bacteria is present and so is there food source. But for NASA to admit that life evolved elsewhere would topple the grand deception that they have participated in which involves a vast human ET presence on Earth that has been covering up.

What the hell? I don't buy for one second that that's all defrosting sand dunes. Still I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet until all other logical theories are exhausted.......however none come to mind. Vegetation on Mars seems possible to me, and being much farther from the sun it would make sense for it to be sporadic growth spots as it appears to be.

The problem is that these people at NASA probably do not even see themselves as dishonest. They have been lying to us for so long that it has just become policy. There are plenty of plants in the rover photos too.
What needs to be pointed out is that they have been lying to the congress, which is a crime. I would not expect that they would be rewarded, except with rooms in the iron bar motel.

These all look like holes with weathered cracking ice or sand around them from erosion or condensation. I don't think any life is possible on mars. In the soil samples that were recorded by the lander, no biological substances were ever reported. Very nice video though, I can give you a few stars on that one.

Sure, but the more you look at photos of Mars, the more striking but common are these angular, symmetrical patterns, and "tree" shapes are easily seen to be cracks in thawing CO2 in some. The lower gravity and atm density has something to do with it. Yeah, my vote says some kind of life is there, but the geo formations are truly spectacular and not to be found on earth. When the climate was warmer, wow!

Maybe the atmosphere is not so thin than NASA said to us (they lie about UFOs and it doens't seem to disturb them). NASA said have found methane on Mars depending of seasons, each year the same phenomena. Or it is a proof of life manifestation, or there's a living core inside the planet, and so maybe a magnetic field as the Van Allen belt. NASA knows for decades this production of methane via seasons. Why not to tell us before ? Why surface colors are often faked ?

Let's say this kind of 'roads' can be natural. We find natural things like that on Earth. But once again, for different 'structures' in the vid, coral, plants, mold or something else, we now can't be sure, however we can bet it's alive, and Mars does't seem to be this desert planet some organizations want us to believe. Nasa is certainly covering up the truth about Mars, I say ,yes, these are trees and snow and looks like some small bodies of water in some shots.I wish they gave us the LIVE high definition true color footage of the probes journey to and approaching mars from its probe cams and its mission on the surface,NEVER,WHY NOT? ,all we get is computer animation of the trip, and lousy distorted photos mostly in black and white. That alone is suspicion of a cover up. They also label true color ,false?

Why speculate about things you see on images from the last century (MGS images) when there is much better recent imagery available taken by the HiRISE experiment of the MRO at
hirise . lpl . arizona . edu
(remove spaces)
For example, search for
PSP_003443_0980
and
PSP _002494_0980
in keyword search and take a look at the "RGB color (non-map projected)" versions of the images, and you will see that most of your "vegetation" are just cracks in the ice.

Your example does't work for many pictures in the video. Maybe for M0804688, but not the others.

As i mentioned, these are "examples" for some of your images turning out to be something different when you examine the phenomenon in higher resolution. You now have a source for HiRISE imagery, why don't you just cross-check your findings and make a video of the phenomena which remain mysterious - like the dark dune spots for example - although they could be of geological origin, a biological explanation is also possible.

You ask why I don't use MRO HiRISE imagery. I looked at dozens and dozens of pictures, and I found one which seems interesting to be analysed (large scale).

PS : for example please google this image 'M1700612', load it and look very close. And tell me what could be all these rising black 'structures' which appear up and down on the picture. If you can find it in high resolution give it to me.

As for R0701100, i see the so-called "dark dune spots" (DDS) again, for which i agree, thet they *might* be of biological origin around a deepening with a slick bottom. The deepening looks a bit like a lake, though its probably ice. I's interesting that thee are more DDS around those, but it also possible that ice in those lakes favours the sublimation process (which is a non-biological explaination for the DDS). My conclusion: Interesting, i'm curious what further research will reveal.

Of course there are a lot of interesting features on mars, but i'm careful not to read too much into what i'm seeing. The simplest and most straightforward explaination often has the highest odds of being true, and since life is rather complex and not simple its most probably to as an explaination *if* simpler explainations exist.

As for the M1700612 image this looks to me like a dark substance (maybe dark sand) slid down the slope of a crescent shaped, and probably frozen (its in the southern polar region) wandering dune (has the shape of a typical wandering dune aslo found here on earth). Maybe the ice melted during summer and allowed the sand (of which the dune actually consists) to crumble through the hole. Other explainations might be true, but at a first glance this seems the most obvious to me.

When you follow the "webmap" links you will get a zoomable map of the Mars surface where the areas are marked for which images taken by the corresponding probe exist. To find out, whether there is HiRISE imagery, you need to find out the coordinates of the image and look at those coordinates in the HiRISE webmap. Note that: -N = +S, -E = 360 - E and so on, you sometimes need to convert the coordinates.

Of course there aren't HiRISE images for all of the areas in question, but for some - and even images in the proximity might answer some questions as they might show similar phenomena.
I don't know why you can't open the image, i don't have problems with that, but then the images are very large and although the JPEG files are quite small, the images take a huge amount of memory when loaded into RAM. Try different software to open it - some programs might cope better with too few memory.

I can open big images, no problem with that. But none software recognize the application (even photoshop). There's no extension name.

You are talking about the images from the hirise.lpl site, right? As far as i can see they are all either JPEG or JPEG2000 (.JP2 - extension, can be selected in upper right menu). In case you downloaded the JP2-images you need a software that can read JPEG2000 or some kind of plugin for photoshop (don't know if it doesnt already come with JPEG2000 support). If its just the extension missing, just add it to the file (.jpeg, .jpg, .jp2, depending on what you downloaded)
