  • You guys sound really good I fucking love the gospel bald fuck on the drums is fucking bad ass he rocks with his cock out hell yeah! Keep on rocking Brotha!

  • Fellow Calvary Chapel attendees, I need your help with online witnessing. Please browse "180 movie" on You Tube. This is the documentary by Ray Comfort on abortion in America and a lesson on witnessing effectively. In the comment box there are numerous visitors in need of the Gospel. Beware, some are very hateful, insulting disbelievers: be prepared for spiritual warfare when you engage there. This message is from James R., I attend services at Calvary Chapel Aurora (Denver) Colorado.

  • Antisemitic jerks. Calvary "recruits" from AA, NA, etc. and offers them a substitute crutch in the form of a highly commercialized belief system. I have personal experience with this particular "church". They are very dangerous.

  • @mrichman Antisemitic?! G-d bless, protect, enlarge Israel, Shalom Israel! With respect, a Calvary Chapel attendee

  • Water4Jeremiah - Did you know that nearly everything at Calvary Chapel Ft Lauderdale was donated by people who love the Lord and give extravagantly to Him? Are you aware that we bring our friends to that restaurant (not even a little expensive by Ft. Lauderdale standards) and fellowship and lead many of them to Jesus? Do you know what we do with profits? Have you read about the Passover feast, & the many times Jesus wined and dined with sinners to show them His love & forgiveness? More ???

  • I spent my summer there and I've never seen a place so full of gluttony and extravagance. They have this expensive restaurant INSIDE their church and I was thinking about how Jesus said that a rich man obtaining heaven is like a camel passing through the eye of a needle. Did the apostles wine and dine? Or did Jesus want them out washing feet?

After my aunt showed Calvary Chapel I actually realized that she was right and that a god doesn't exist and is just there for people to make money.

  • This song is amazing!!!! My true desire is to be more and more like Him every day... beautiful song!!!

  • can anybody please post the chords for this song!

  • I miss you church

  • beutiful..

  • i love Jesus soo Much !!! =D

  • I was there 12 years and yes, of the things I miss most, it's my home church.

  • GARBAGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • tinyUrl ____ com/CounterfeitChristianity

See if you can solve the puzzle above...

    1. Copy the link and fill in the blank before the "com/"

  • Has anyone considered that there is no new commandment in the New Testament to depart from the singing of the Holy Spirit inspired Psalms and to replace it with uninspired compositions of men? Was the original position of the Reformed and Presbyterian churches who exclusively sung Psalms correct? Or is the present day practice of singing uninspired songs and hymns of men better, that is, more scriptural, that that of former days? Where does the NT require such a revision of worship songs?

  • @FaithfulAndTrue100 in the Psalms does it not say to sing a new song unto God? Do you really believe that the NT church can,t write new worship songs unto God? Are you that dense? Yes they should be based in Scripture before going crazy.

  • @buzzobug It's not about whether you think I am dense, but rather about the proper way to worship God. The acceptable way to worship God is instituted by Himself and limited by His own revealed will. This has been true from the beginning. When Cain brought an offering to the Lord other than 'the firstling of the flock and of the fat thereof' God did not accept it. 'But unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect' Gen 4:5. Cain decided to worship God according to his own will rather than

  • @buzzobug God's will. God would not be worshipped except as He commanded. Consider Nadab and Abihu, priests who offered unauthorized fire in the ceremony and God killed them both (Lev 10:1-2). God rejected their worship. This is so true that when they built altars to the Lord they were not allowed to use their own tools to better it. They were to know that even one mark added by the hand of man to that which God commanded was a complete contamination as far as God was concerned (Ex. 20:25).

  • @buzzobug I can go on and on with more examples but with limited space here I'll keep it short, but this principle continues in all the OT and into the NT. There is no new commandment to worship God other than as He tells us to, except for the fact that we are no longer under the yoke of the ceremonial law because gave Himself and the once-and-for-all perfect sacrifice. There is no new commandant to worship God differently, that is with songs of human composition.

  • @buzzobug , tell me would you sing the song, Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty..... God in three persons...?

  • @buzzobug In worship I would not sing anything other than the Psalms. Outside of worship we have more liberty in what we can sing. We are given an example by Christ in Matt 26:30 and Mark 14:26 to sing hymns. By todays standards a hymn is considered a non-inspired composition, but in Jesus' time a hymn was another name for the psalms. It was custom to sing the Hallel Psalms (113-118) at the passover. In Mat 26 and Mk 14 they just celebrated passover, instituted the Lord's Supper and sang psalms.

  • @buzzobug It is important to realize that at this critical juncture in Chirst's life in Matt 26 and Mark 14 we are shown that the Lord's Supper now supersedes the passover. Passover did not carry over into the New Testament and at that same time the Holy Spirit is telling us that Psalm singing is carried over into the New Testament.

  • @FaithfulAndTrue100 , i guess we are just going to disagree. I sing songs that are based in scripture. As i would sing the song by Paul Wilbur. the song of Moses which he based from Revelation. I see worship songs to the Lamb - God to be rooted in scripture. and should not stray from there. i worship the Lamb to exalt Him . And i am trying to write some songs and actually the last few i am trying to put to lyrics is based on the Psalms. Don,t mean i know how to write songs

  • @FaithfulAndTrue100 , Just means i try and write songs. I am sometime soon to get together with one of the couples from Church who play on the worship band and see if anything can be done about putting them to music. we will see, but i might just be singing them to God alone at nite time when i pray.

  • @buzzobug I did not always feel this way about psalm singing. I went to Calvary Chapels and independent non-denominational churches who sang similar songs. It was only when it was pointed out to me that only the Psalms were ever authorized by scripture for divine worship and that carried over into the NT as I described below and also in Eph 5:18-19 and Col 3:16, yet there is no new express commandment to sing uninspired songs written by men, which can and have erred.

  • @FaithfulAndTrue100 i agree that Songs to God should be rooted in Scripture. and i see some songs wrote that are from the NT. there is the song , Salvation belongs to our God-- a hosanna song, and also i see that Barry and Batya sing that song too. there is some songs i hear being sung in Church that i would not use if i was the worship leader. So in that we agree. So to me i will try and write songs from Scripture and not go from there. And i do love the messianic songs too

  • I too was looking up Calvery Chapel. I attend Heartland Christian Fellowship in Des Moines, Iowa. It too is a Calvery Chapel. I was blessed listening to your hearts to God and singing along to Him with you. God bless you

  • John 4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

  • I love churches that plant other churches and not get enormous.

  • Great song! The Calvary worship team and Clay, the worship leader, are very gifted! I'm also in this video from 3:08 to 3:11! I know, who cares...

  • Randomly I went to youtube to see if there was anything from Calvary Chape on line, what a fabulous surprise to actually see Pastor Clay and the worship team. I left Ft Ldle 5 years ago, and the ONLY thing I miss about it is Calvary Chapel. Watching the worship footage and Pastor Bob, has brought over a sense of calm that I truly haven't felt in far too long.

  • @n8tivnuyawka same here. I left about 11 years ago. Miss him alot, but at least I can watch him online.

  • Calvary FTL is the BEST and there is no other church out there that compares. I know, I attended at Calvary from 1992-2000 and they spoiled me. I lived in TN for 7 years and could not find a church like Calvary. I now live in GA and still cannot find a church to compare. What a blessed church! I miss it!

  • @LadyChiefRider: I agree! I used to live a little north of Fort Lauderdale and I would attend on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Now, I am attending graduate seminary in New York and there is nothing here like Calvary! I am preparing to work with Ukrainian orphans.
