I did not listen to my government, nor anyone else, when drawing my conclusions about the Wikileaks videos. I watched these videos, and after putting all the different accounts together, I could see that no crimes were committed on the part of U.S. military personnel.

I would think that as political commentators they would be aware that once a person is elected president, his views tend to shift rapidly towards the center. Many people on the right said Obama was dangerous because he had the most liberal voting record in the Senate, but when he become president he changed most of his views on things like war, tax cuts, and healthcare in order to appeal to mainstream America. Anyone who refers to a candidate as "dangerous" is just fear mongering.

I like when these guys discuss political issues. They're obviously intelligent and well informed people. I miss Cenk and Ana's back-and-forth (they're definitely more entertaining), but these kinds of videos are very interesting...

Folks that don't believe in Evolution aren't qualified to be President. They show that they won't consider the evidence when it contradicts their religious preconceptions.

@34601k I believe Huckabee is running ahead of Palin now in polls of Republicans. And would probably do better than Palin among independents. He's also a better speaker and not so polarizing. Thus he would do better against Obama than Palin would.

@MrCherryGhost You're right...but the fact is, many in this country deny evolution, and want to force their religious fantasies upon our children in public school science classes across the country. Evolution is as much a fact in biology, as gravity is in physics...BUT there are unfortunately many...well morons out there, and politicians who are equally moronic, or are acting as such to get the vote.

What I noticed about Mitt is that he's quiet after the elections he's not like Huckabee, McCain, Palin, Rudy G. and other republicans who went nuts with interviews and shows. He lays fairly low (though occasionally pokes his head out) whether by choice or not, it probably hurt him in that respect. If Palin decides to run... The laughs will ensue.

If a Republican had to have won in '08, god help us, Mike Huckabee would probably have been the least awful. Still, the idea of a conservative Baptist minister as head of state is ominous for secular America. I think we can all agree that politics aside he stands out from the Republican crowd just by seeming like a pretty nice guy.
