  • I picked up this album in a bargain bin in 1985, put on my turntable and my world changed. One of the most sublime musical performances I've ever had the pleasure to hear, It was part of my wife and my wedding ceremony , I've used it in musical therapy. It never fails to reach people on an extremely personal level. Abdullah Ibrahim is a treasure, thanks for sharing this.

  • I love this song! I have been lucky enough to see Abdullah Ibrahim in concert several times with trios, quartets and larger orchestral units. Sometimes he adds a flute to this song and there is ever a dry eye. It's a PERFECT song!

  • Unbelievable piece of music - saw this guy live in Austria long ago - have never forgotten this haunting melody. Thank you for posting the video.
