What a giant of the harmonica!! I wish I could have met him. Lollipop mama and drinking beer are always giant inspiration to me. Amongst many many others.
"Not the best vocalist but a great harp player" LOL people kill me, what an asshole thing to say. ZDo you know how rare it is to get a great harp player/vocalist/songwriter/frontman in one person? Maybe Kim wilson, Rick Estrin, James Harman, Rod piazza...that's it!!!!
I can't believe I found this!! Ol' Bill was a Master Machinist at a hi-performance shop where I got my first job, RC Engineering in Gardena, California back in the late 1970's. Bill was the nicest, friendliest and coolest guy in the shop. He was also one of the hardest workers, he had to be....the machine shop was small but turned out a lot of championship work! Loved this guy. He used to blow on his harmonica on his lunch and rest breaks. Amazing talent!!!!
RC Engineering -the exhaust systems for bikes? I used to order that stuff for the Honda dealership I worked at-I never kne whe worked there-this is great stuff!!
think that in Argentina there is someone like me who has a tattoo of him on the shoulder. I am a big fan of one of the biggest fans of george harmonica smith. William in the glory forever.
Hi Again, bluesswede, can't really thank you enough for these videos! I was not lucky enough to se Bill live, so this is the best! Hope I someday can reach to Bill's knees! If you play guitar like Bill's guys we should have jammed together! Greetings from Norway
Hi Harpmann. Don't thank me, thank Jeannette. It's thanks to her we have these DVD's. She does a great job keeping Bill's memory alive! I admire her a lot for that!
