I love playing tightend and I played a lot of receiver (split, slot/flanker) and yes it feels good catching and scoring. Anyone can play defense. The biggest pussies and player haters are good defensive players. Great minds play and excel on offense.
@keenyman32 a good tight end needs to be able to hold his own against the biggest dudes on the defense so you definitely need to gain some weight, but you still have to be very agile. I'd say gain a good fifteen twenty pounds of MUSCLE and maybe grow a couple more inches and you'll be the prototype tight end!
@Haysrebel54 lol im not wanting to play play college football im pretty strong for my size already im only 6' and im done growing so yeah. i just need to know the right weight size
@keenynman34 Do you mean tight end INSTEAD of linebacker? That's a shitty position trade, LB is funner. If you're talking about pound in muscle, I would say 220 pounds atleast, but you'd better be fast enough to play LB.

for college? what division? you would prob be a outside linebacker if u wanted to stay in that position or maybe a defensive end. who knows some schools like tall fast corners. you might even become a corner.
