  • I'm looking for the rest of the trip. I've not found that video (those videos) yet. Bruno, thank you for devoting so much of the view to scenery.

  • Thank you for not cutting up the video. That was a tutorial. At 38 minutes you chose a path that didn't show a comfortable exit. I don't know what the conditions were that day but I wondered if you had ever glided over to a ridge expecting an updraft and found nobody home. And "wind shadows". Is that the gentlemanly equivalent of 'OH SH..!'

  • Burno: in the midwest on a monday (no weekend) snowing and enjoying every minute of your work. I flew for gliders in my youth, I had to stop while in the military, no time. This spring I'll get my licence again and will be in the market for a glider. Where would you suggest starting first?

  • @avoterinmo Glad you are enjoying the videos! :) I would love to chat with you by phone to really help answer your questions. Always fun to get to know other pilots. Send me a personal message with your contact info and we can chat. Take care, Bruno

  • I just stumbled onto this. I wanted to see some flying videos:)

I know this is a dumb question, but what's the beeping noise? Is that a speed warning thing? Thanks for posting this, I bet you had FUN!

  • @AllSingingAllDancing Hey no problem. Not a bad question. Because this is a glider you need to use the air currents to get lift. The beeping tells you if you are in raising air or sinking air. Please take a look at some of my other soaring videos. This one does not show the instrument panel like the other ones. Take care, Bruno

  • @bviv I am glad I found this comment I was waoundering the same thing, I know what it does just trying to figure out what the speed of the tone means.

  • @bviv Which way is which? Does the higher indicate rising?

Nice vid, and I hope to become a pilot someday!

  • I dunno, man. @~38:00 thru ~40:00 that valley-blocking ridge to the right looked spooky.

I know u want the high ground but...I'm just sayin'.

    brrr

  • Nice! But I more like other your vids with all cockpit on screen. Cheers!

  • @WilkzPolski I agree. I will be releasing a new video of flying this range while chasing the new 15 meter National champion from the better cockpit perspective you mention. It is nothing short of amazing to see this other perspective. Just editing it now and can't wait to share. Take care. Bruno

  • @bviv So i'm waiting, waiting! ;D

  • Fantastic, I hope you don't mind but I downloaded this via keepvid to rewatch on my 52 inch HD screen later!

  • @avnavcgm :) Enjoy! Bruno

  • lie if you watched all of it!

  • Gorgeous scenery! Need to fly there one day!

  • a delight to watch Bruno! Thankyou. Would love to see the second half with final glide, etc. Also heard the 'plink plink' of SeeYou Mobile Thermal Assistant, so do you have an IGC file of the flight? Would be great to relate that to the vid. Salutations from UK!

  • Ok that is truly awesome, love the raw footage style. I love being a pilot (still need to get my giider rating)

  • Amazing 47 minutes ;) Thanks for sharing!
