  • @gamword me the vodou gods be with ayiti..l'union fait la force

  • It is very sad to see th butiful contries being destroyed by the pressure from oversea, I am well aware that the problems in haiti didnt cause by the quark, it started far beyond that, but if the people who have been living together for couple of years have started to discrimate each other becouse of there skin colour, or ethnic background is a disastrous situation,

  • Bumatong guaitiao which is the Taino language which means in English,

" Thank you friend". I am happy you have informed that Haitians just as Puertoricans, Cubans and Dominicans have Taino blood in our veins. The Taino people and nation still lives in the Caribean. It is not a bad idea to relive our ancesters language again as Hebrew was brought back to life in Israel. Bomatong for the information.

  • I enjoyed this video. I am intrigued by the History of Haiti.

    Peace and Love for Haiti!

  • This was very nicely arranged...join me on facebook: Haitian Bahamian Connection (HBC) for a discussion on Haiti's situation

  • Nicely done!

  • Haiti pap krazé!!!!!!!!

  • In 1804 Dessalines found it necessary to reassure nations other than France and Spain that Haiti posed no threat to the security of their colonies. The constitution of May 1805 confirmed this assurance to foreign powers: 'The emperor will not undertake any enterprise with a view to making conquests or to troubling the peace and internal regime of foreign colonies.'

  • The war for independance was from 1801 or 1802 to 1803!

Haiti was the second independent nation in the western hemisphere not forget United-States 1776!

The U.S' occupation lasted until 1934,19 years from 1915 to 1934!

  • Yet despite these assurance on part of Dessalines, the mere existence of an independent black state which had achieved liberation by a violent struggle against a white colonial administration posed a threat to other nations. 'The existence of a negro people in arms', wrote Talleyrand to General Louis Turreau in Washington,'occupying a country which it has soiled by the most criminal acts, is a horrible spectacle for all white nations.' Haiti was regarded as the symbol of black dignity&human equl

  • The oppressed wants to become the oppressor to his own people. When you attempt that you dishonor your self and your ancestors one thousand times.

Don't shame yourself and fall prey to propaganda.

    Kind Regards,

    Printo1

  • Give little African kids a taste of their history and they will start to salivate for more.....

  • thanks for hte video.

  • Great video..thank you for sharing it with us!

  • Please people, the only revolution I advocate is waking up and loving your self and culture. Embrace all cultures, just don't trade yours in.

    Peace & Love To All

  • Une nation sans mémoire est une nation sans demain

  • The colonial countries never stop their best to keep Haiti divided so they can show the world that the first black independent country in the world can not survive in peace and harmony. Do you remember that there was an agreement between CARICOM (All the Caribbean countries) and the first democratically and constitutionally elected president of Haiti Jean-Beratrand Aristide. Bush sided with the criminals, thugs and rapists instead of supporting the agreement to bring all Haitians together.

  • @SmithGeorges interesting didnt know this

  • Haiti has such a facinating history and culture. How are the people so easily divided?

  • YEA DIVIDE AND CONQUER

  • the most excited, educated, st8ght to the point video I've ever seeing.....thx 4 sharing with us.....

  • very inspiring,

    Haitians, stand up.

Ayisyen leve Kampe, nan se you fos.

  • We Haitians must truly unite in order to become a force in the Americas. Black Haitians and White Haitians must get past differences. Mixed Haitians as well as others (Arabs) must put country before anything else!!! Inspiring video!

  • I am proud of my Haitian brothers. Suban

  • There is a new phenomenon called blackhaterism. It has spread like wild fire in recent time. It was started by a hateful group well funded and very powerul organization. It's subliminal messages are on t.v., print, ad, just to name a few. They have manage to have every single institution spread their message of hate.

What's most puzzling and bizzare is the group it was set out to destroy is the #1 advocate of it's own destruction.

  • During the first six months of 1804 alone, some forty ships carried arms, ammunition, and supplies from New York to Haiti. In 1805 Dessalines recruited American and German armorers from Philadelphia: Under sharp presure from Napoleon (and in return for his support in the U.S. dispute with Spain over West Florida). President Jefferson embargoed trade with Haiti in 1806.

That would be the beginning of many ambargo's to come in Haiti's future.

  • Northern merchants wanted to trade with Haiti. Southern slave-owners abominated Haiti and all it stood for. The planters prevailed. Haiti was to remain unrecognized by the U.S. for decades to come. In the words of Thomas Hart Benton to the Senate in 1826: "We receive no mulatto conculs or black ambassadors from [Haiti]. And why? The peace of 11 state will not permit the fruits of a successful Negro inurrection to be exhibited among them."

  • Well done

  • The oppress wants to become the oppressor to his own people. He or she wants to show his oppressor that he hates himself. Self hate is worst then a deadly disease and worst then a deadly drug. Free your mind people, wake up.

  • I agree with all the contributors an excellent video please produce more isn't it ironic that after Haitie's victory in 1804. Three years later the top slaveing nation Britain abolished the slave trade in 1807 Haiti has been forced ever since. To pay reperations to the French Government for defeating their attempt to re-enslave them, none of this would have happened if Songhai Empire in W Africa didn't suffer a defeat.

  • what is this music from?

  • The music is from Cirque du Soleil titled High Bar.

  • Nice video. Good to see the beautiful people of Haiti being represented. Never mind the pale homosexual missionary devils. They are mere diabolical beings in human form only. They and their christian crap will soon be flushed. Their sole role is to destroy indigenous cultures & poison minds with religious rubbish, which is nothing but stuff of their warped imagination, for the sake of devilish domination. Missionaries are about the worse evil on the planet; because they subtly attack minds

  • Long live the beautiful African people of Haiti.

With Self-knowledge & Self-development, acquired through Consciousness-Based Education, the African people of Haiti will have final victory over evil, ethnic cleansing & enslaving devils of Europe. The vodous of the ethnically cleansed Tainos, & of Africans shall have a blissful existence in a liberated Haiti. Missionaries are diabolical beings in human form. Their role is to poison minds with christian crap coming from their warped imagination.

  • nice video

  • Thank u. This is a great video bout our history. About ouy HAITI. Many people dont dont where we from & our history. I wish Haiti would have stayed the " Perle des Antilles" that it was. One day maybe. L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE!!

  • Thank You as well. I am an African-American who went to school in Newark NJ in the early 80's. In my high school there was a large migration of haitains. They were constantly harassed by the other students. I did not know what a haitan was but what I observed still holds true. They want to get a long with you but if you want WAR they are ready. I wish I had known then there rich history and genesis for that mentality.

  • awesome video. thanks!

  • I wish there were more like you printo1, i wish i had a bit of you fire, passion for our great land. My fire is in need of some fuel,it's being oppressed by fear. I hope one day to overcome. Haiti needs that flame. Haiti needs people who understands and able to educate those who have lost their ways. I hope one day I'll be strong and wise enough for Haiti. Thanks

  • Very powerful video. Haiti is such a wonderful county. Please contact me.
