personally I wouldn't recommend this kit, when I purchased mine almost all of the drums were out of round and had bad bearing edges, thankfully I no longer have it and now user a tama superstar.

save up and get a better kit, you wont regret it, also never buy a kit that is made in china, they suck because the wood is most likely very cheap and have most likely not gone through quality control (which means they don't check the kit/hardware for damages)

Yeah... that was how mine sounded at first. These kits degrade quickly, plus the hihat is pretty awful, not going to lie. The heads fall to pieces, but that's what your supposed to get with a beginner kit. I'd recommend it for new drummers.

these drums sound great ,i used these drums and a tama rockstar snare ,if you are wannting to get intoo playing drumms these are the way to goo..the wood is not cheap in this drum sound better then cb pearl sound check ..and to me sounds better then most high prized drums....im really taking these with me ,when my band goes on tour !!!:)

@h9per i just got it :) only thing id say is if u can get new drum heads and stuff i would as it will make the sound much better, but other than that it is a really nice kit for the price
