first of all i been a tire guy for over 10 years. NEVER NEVER PUT YOUR FEET UNDER A TIRE WITH JUST A JACK JUST FOR SUPPORT. If the jack should fail well that car is going to fall on top of you. This is a wrong procedure. If you cant lift the tire there is a safer way to do it. Ever car comes with a tire iron. Place the tire in position. Lay the tire iron in front of the tire. Roll tire on top of tire iron. Lift the tire iron and the tire will lift in place. Wow i cant believe this lady. Safety 1
Good on you!! Every driver, both men and women, should know the basics of vehicle maintenance and care before they even get a drivers license. I'm a guy and it really shames me to know just how many guys out there don't even know how to fill a tire with air much less change a flat. Some are too afraid to even check their oil level much less change it regularly. I plan on reversing this trend. Both my son and daughers will learn from me to do all this and more before they even learn to drive.
