I have my video you tube as a joke after my cat tore my hand up But she was stuck in a window with a broken leg and I was rescuing her she did it out of pain and fear! You are leaving a bad message! you should have taken your cat to the vet Not the Pound!
There must of been a reason it was scared. One thing you dont do is pick up a cat when its scared. I've had bad experiances. Sometimes my cat just tried leaping off out of my arms but its claw was also gripping me at the same time.
