GGGAAY vid the quality is worse than the windows default one and it doeskin help at all with it going extremely fast over the video and voice prolonged thing and I'm not setting my comp frames display lower because it is as low as it can go without it being smaller res and i want 720p not 240p >:O

@defianceunstable Don't be silly. I'm not saying you should make resolution go lower i'm saying that the recording frames per second should go lower.

x264vfw [warning]: Few frames probably would be lost. Ways to fix this:

x264vfw [warning]: - if you use VirtualDub or its fork than you can enable 'VirtualDub Hack' option

x264vfw [warning]: - you can enable 'File' output mode

x264vfw [warning]: - you can enable 'Zero Latency' option

@xhurricanezz This codec doesn't frickin' work. I'm getting the same error message as XxAceTrainerGreenxX. When I try correcting the settings as mentioned, I don't get any video playback at all. The DivX codec is also shit. Over a twenty-second test, it managed to record all of three frames.

@Glitcher2000 Did you even try to set output mode to file and enable zero latency? because i had this error message too but i actually enabled fast decode and zero latency. Oh and try setting some other framerate for divx.

for some reason with divx i did what you did the videos are nice but i cant record sound, i have have realtek hd audio but it use to work when i had xvid mpeg,

btw i have vista home premium

I'm using this codex and it works perfect except for one thing. It cuts off the end of my video by at least 5 seconds. I try to let the video go on longer and that doesn't work. Any suggestions?

@Sinist3rAlex I have no idea how to solve that one. Maybe you should use some other codec like divx.

@xhurricanezz The Dvix one is weird. Sometimes I get the compression failure message, sometimes I don't. 85% of the time it says failure to compress or something along those lines.

@Sinist3rAlex Well if the codec cuts 5 seconds away just continue recording as long as you have to. I have nothing else to say about it really.

@thesilverviolet I have changed the link, you just got to the newest files and there is the .exe file. I recommend to download the upper one as it is newer version.

@randomgames100 It is important that you have 15 fps or it will speed up so go check that out :) But i have noticed that these problems are usually individual. Some one has them some one doesn't. And i haven't found very large variety of solutions. I would suggest to double check the settings and if you really want the best quality out there (this video :D) you could re-install hypercam 2 and the codec. But if quality doesn't really matter that much just watch my other video. out of characters:)

The quality's great but when I set it to 15 fps (frames per second) the vid goes toooo fast in vegas and other editing programs :(

You should really use another programs for recording games as hypercam 2 is desktop recorder.

Umm, what? Your video looks worse on youtube or your raw file looks bad? maybe you set the ratefactor wrong because it makes alot noise in the video if set to less.
