Love your videos.

Have you managed to capture the shock wavextending perpendicular from the center of a wing?

Withe light just right it appears like a single stationary heat wave "crease" which distorts images behind it.

I havexcellent video of one on our 8 mm camcorder.

Geat vid! In my five years of flying at least twice a week, the MD-88 is the plane I flew in the most! Brings back great memories! I love the sound, GREAT! Most of the other planes I flew in were CRJ's out of SDF to Chicago or Cincinnati/ Norhern Kentucky. I love the CRJ engine sound even better, used to sit in between them alot just to hear the harmonics when they were resonating...

@houshidar558 I agree. I took a flight out of atl to ord 6 months ago on an md88 and the pilot revved the engines to full power, then released the brakes. We shot out like a rocket!

@PingByter cabin crew say youre not allowed but people still do it and the cabin crew cant do anything about it because theyre sitting in either front or back of the plane with no visuals
